“Such a great resource for crafters, artists, teachers, and more. On our last visit we got beautiful soft velvet fabric samples, backed with felt, to use as small blankets for the pup! She loved it!!!
The staff is always kind, and helpful, definitely take a trip!”
“I love this place and the trails around the nature center, during the week is so quiet and relaxing. We always see animals. The deets observation deck is awesome.”
“Well-maintained and beautiful garden that’s perfect for a quick walk through or quiet contemplation. It gets pretty busy on the weekends but most people leave pretty quickly. The parking is somewhat limited, but you can usually find a space. The gardens have really cool permanent sculptures and also temporary art exhibits to check out throughout the year. The buildings adjacent also include a library and small theatre that holds exhibits and concerts.”
“I visited the Cultural Council with 6 of my art cohorts. What a delightful time we had looking at artwork from local artists that gave us inspiration and confirmation that our own artwork is marketable and on par with others. We saw some very nice works. The gallery is a delight. The staff was friendly and helpful. Highly recommended.”
“Everyone was kind! They even prayed with us. It's great what they're doing! God's work! Times are tough, and people like this restore my faith in humanity ??”
“The Cancer Alliance has been an absolute blessing during one of the most difficult times in our lives. Doug, in particular, has been an incredible resource—compassionate, understanding, and truly committed to helping those in need. He took the time to really get to know my husband, Ken, and made the entire process feel personal and supportive. The assistance we received made a meaningful difference, and we are beyond grateful for the kindness and care shown to our family. Our puppy, Midnight, has been neutered and up to date on his shots. He is more friendly and his support to Ken has been so positive while he undergoes treatment! Thank you from the bottom of our hearts. ~Ken & Mark, Midnight & Bailey”

“The Palm Beach County Black Business Investment Corporation has been a true catalyst in my entrepreneurial journey. From the moment I engaged with them, I felt supported, encouraged, and connected to something greater. BBIC was one of the first organizations to pour into me as a new founder, helping me understand the resources available and giving me the confidence to pursue my goals with purpose and strategy.
Their workshops are incredibly informative and practical, not just theory, but tools you can apply immediately. The networking events are welcoming and inspiring, offering real opportunities to build relationships with other driven entrepreneurs and community leaders. Most importantly, the BBIC team truly cares. You can see it in the way they show up, the way they speak to you, and the consistency with which they serve small business owners across Palm Beach County.
BBIC doesn’t just provide resources, they build community. And for that, I’m deeply grateful. Thank you Markeisha, Julie, and the best of the BBIC family for believing in us and making our business aspirations come to life.”
“Great little place to pop into for a 20 min walk through if you’re grabbing lunch in the area. Nice atmosphere, and decent exhibits. You’ll get a quick history when you come in, after a friendly welcome.”

“The Chamber of Commerce of the Palm Beaches is indicative of the potential of the county many have yet to benefit from. If your business is not part of the chamber, change that right away,”
“I cannot laud Dress for Success enough. If I should express my joy and respect, I could write a few pages. First of all, thank you for honoring Palm Beach teachers gratis as part of your recognition of what we do and who we are.I went there expecting to be outfitted with a couple of used items. From the time I walked into the building, it displayed a super clean place exuding a professionally welcoming atmosphere. As I entered their suite, I was greeted by two beautiful women who introduced themselves politely and one of them guided me to this beautiful, organized, high-class boutique. The clothes are mostly high-end quality super clean, and well-organized. I have shopped at Neiman Marcus and Saks Fifth Avenue and believe me, this venue gives them a run for their money. I walked out with beautifully fitted clothing and all-inclusive accessories, including shoes. That is not all.The program itself helps women prepare for entry into professional employment. The staff women coach, teach, encourage, and inspire women from start to finish. The director, Mrs. Fletcher possesses this easy-going quiet strength that trickles down to the rest of the organization. Thank you, thank you, thank you.Ladies, if you are looking for a place to donate your time, resources, and heart this is it! Companies that are seeking a non-profit to pour support and know that your resources will be used to empower women, this is it.Ladies, thank you for making me feel like a queen for an hour or two. May God bless you and the work of your hands!Linda”

“I have been working with the Salvation Army for just about 4 years as the Director of Family Stores. I have an extensive background in retail management and never have I felt as fulfilled as I do now. We help our community by selling gently used household items including furniture at deeply discounted prices and also provide vouchers for people in our community who need our help. The money we recoup through the stores goes directly Social Services programs in the West Palm Beach Community.”
“National headquarters! I stopped by to see if my hair I've been growing for donation during the pandemic had too much grey in it for their requirements for donation (more than 50%). Which they told me it did, but I could go ahead & color it before I donate it which is acceptable. Anything but bleaching. So nice to walk in and get a direct answer. Will color it & get it donated very soon.”
“I work there as an agency nurse When needed and I find this place impeccably clean …and is furnished beautifully … the staff work really well with the youths also …and I see the progress. I’m fussy where I work in terms of cleanliness and safe harbor meets my expectations!! Btw Donations are most welcomed and Mr Dwayne helps to spearhead that along with other staff members. I highly recommend this program and location.Desiree RN”
“Staff is a blessing. They helped me when I was poor, in a shelter, and when I got to my new apartment. They gave me resources to use and direct assistance with diapers for my younger children. Now, I am able to bring people to them to get the same services. I just drove a young lady and her baby there and the staff was nice and friendly. even gave a few extra words of encouragement. Thank you so much for the past few years and now the upcoming. They are moving offices so call the office before you visit.”
