“Possibly my best experience of being in a bookstore like ever.The staff were exceptional: fun and engaged and super-helpful above and beyond to even trying to help with queries that were not book related and more local knowledge.They were also happy for me and my daughter to grab some time TOGETHER in the tiny round kids’ reading snug while we read about the poet Rumi. Even though it wasn’t massively “roomy” as we kept joking, it was a very special experience. Naturally we bought the book :-)Nikki Wordsmith”
“This is not a large bookstore, however it is incredibly curated! It is locally owned and she does a wonderful job at having a wide variety of books that speak to a reader's soul. Perfect for fantasy and sci-fi readers. She is also more than capable of helping you find what it is that you need and ordering things in as well. Strongly recommend to stop at this bookstore whenever you can!”
“Customer service here was top tier ? the guys were so welcoming and fun, they answered every question my 8 year old needed to start his first collection, told us (parents) what’s best for his age, even told me about signings so my son could attend the ones he’s interested in!! Someone even bought my son a comic to add to what we purchased because he was excited to see him starting. The store was so organized and they have a huge $1 section as well. Definitely recommend and we will be back as regulars.”
“Stumbled upon this place while walking through downtown Dunedin. The staff was very welcoming and friendly- almost immediately explaining how the new/used items were shelved together, where to see the prices. Which were very reasonable! Also pointed out the size of my socks- I accidentally grabbed a small which was very helpful. Very clean store. Highly recommend this business!”
“What an amazing place! The Book Lounge in St. Pete feels like a refuge, a place apart from the outside world. Very nice book selection. It brings to mind a series of books that I read once about a special bookstore in Barcelona by the Spanish author Carlos Ruiz Zafron (The series begins with The Shadow of the Wind). The atmosphere, music, wall art and overall decor is spectacular. Comfy seating. Great staff. The wine and charcuterie selection is innovative; standard meats/cheese, very nice veggie selection, but we got an item from the Fishwife Experience selection of quality tinned seafood. We got the Smoked Rainbow Trout in Red Chimichuri sauce. Opened tin served with cornichon, olives, carrots, crackers and a small pepper made this a wonderful flavor and taste combination. A very nice Chehalem INOX Unoaked Chard to go with it. And a very tasty non-alcoholic lemon drink. Their NA and mocktail selection was very good. Excellent value for dollar spent! Go here for a nice book selection, and some great charcuterie and wine and to especially if you are in need of a little respite from the outside world.”

“Stepping into the store I was immediately impressed by the layout and placement of items. It was warm and inviting. Then I became even more impressed by the unbelievable customer service I received from Natalia and Terry. They went above and beyond in finding a book I was looking for, ordering it, and ringing up my purchases. They both had incredible knowledge of the books and items in the store. And they both had an interest in me, a customer.

“It's a bookstore for the college there, but they also sell to the public. They had really good racks of books, coffee table books to novels, in like new condition for dirt cheap. It's inside the library building and also a great little library, the library can get books sent there fast from other libraries.”

“Best used book store around. Big selection, sorted by author, so easy to locate what you are looking for. Prices are good $2-$3/book. Also tons of cds, cassettes, records, dvds and vhs tapes. I even saw a vhs player for $5. Big building as well so lots of room to roam around and browse.”
