“They had tons of stuff!! Was there for hours and still didn’t get through it all. Not even close!
Walked out with a pair of men’s shoes, hubby was trying them on in car immediately after and noticed a rip. So brought them back in less than 5 minutes and the lady at the front was gracious enough to let me exchange them! She was super sweet and pleasant.
**But one thing I have to mention is my husband went to the bathroom at the same time (after me) and he was told no, you can’t use the restroom?!! That was completely wrong. Maybe some workers are racist against men or what?
Otherwise everything was great! Thank you, I’ll be back next time I’m in town.”
“They had dishtowels with two different prices. All i had said $1.49, I didnt realize it until cashier gave me my reciept. computer generated price which was higher than the 3 different price on the towels. (1.49, 1.99 and 2.49) First expected me to pay the higher price. My neice had some in her cart at the two higher prices. She was expected to pay the computer generated price aswell. Finally got what seemed to be store manager, which advised me to grab another one ... which covered the .50 difference in my totals. My point here between the other 2 cashiers working, they were totally clueless on how to kove foward. The GOODWILL should aleays have a mgr on staff at all times. Or properly train these ladies how to handle situations. It was an error on their part. Not mine. Customer service and basic math is important to working front end as a caahier.”
“Family Thrift is a non profit that provides families in need in Broward, Miami, and Palm Beach with clothing and furniture. They will pick up your gently used clothing and furniture for their stores here in Margate and in Lauderhill. They also do buy outs so their stores are a mixture of new and used items. They have this store in Lauderhill and another one in Margate. I had fun sorting through the treasures. They had clothes, furniture, household goods, decorations, and collectibles. There was a lot of things to look at and I was pleasantly surprised by the variety of inventory. Everything was neat, organized, and fairly priced. I saw several people who looked like resellers picking up items and checking prices on their phones before popping it into their carts. If you see something you like grab it. If you enjoy thrifting you will want to check this store out.”
