“They had tons of stuff!! Was there for hours and still didn’t get through it all. Not even close! Walked out with a pair of men’s shoes, hubby was trying them on in car immediately after and noticed a rip. So brought them back in less than 5 minutes and the lady at the front was gracious enough to let me exchange them! She was super sweet and pleasant. **But one thing I have to mention is my husband went to the bathroom at the same time (after me) and he was told no, you can’t use the restroom?!! That was completely wrong. Maybe some workers are racist against men or what? Otherwise everything was great! Thank you, I’ll be back next time I’m in town.”

“Nice place and very friendly staff. I brought clothes to sell, some never worn and in their original packaging. Of everything I brought, they took 4 shirts. It was a very busy day for them, took a couple hours for them to evaluate the clothes. Good experience, I would definitely recommend, but not the Saturday at the end of the month. The guy in front of me was clearing out a storage unit so he had a lot of stuff. I also checked out the clothes for sale, good quality stuff, lots of jeans and expensive looking clothes and sneakers in great condition. If it wasn’t for the extra time waiting I would have given a 5 star review.”

“Families in Need is a thrift store that supports Spirit of Life Power International, a nonprofit organization that builds schools and provides programs designed to help low-income autistic teenagers and young adults gain education, life skills, and independence. The organization offers free pickup of gently used, unwanted items, which are then resold at their thrift store on Federal Highway in Hollywood. I've passed this store several times and have always been curious about it, so today I finally stopped in. Outside, they had a selection of furniture, including a swing chair that would be perfect for a Florida room, as well as a stand-up paddleboard and a few other interesting pieces. Inside, I found a large, open showroom featuring furniture, mattresses, home goods, glassware, clothing, shoes, accessories, and more. The items appeared to be in good condition, and the prices I checked seemed very reasonable. I would likely stop in again and would recommend Families in Need for anyone shopping on a budget, especially for furniture or someone that wants to supports a worthwhile cause.”

“Absolutely one of the finest thrift stores I've been to there's also wanted Wilton Manners which is the main store but this one located off Powerline Avenue and Atlantic Boulevard intersection is fantastic as well! You can find great deals at extremely fair prices with up to 50% off there's also a senior day I believe Thursday is that day and this shop has furniture brick-a-brac kitchen things and clothing and linens and more it's a must go to I go there all the time and I love it excellent fair prices and large discounts! “Went for the first time today and couldn’t be more impressed by the whole experience. The staff (maybe volunteers?) were absolutely amazing and very kind to my two daughters who are learning the love of thrifting! Most places are not calm and friendly to kids touching fragile items but they never even batted an eye at them shopping! They were very helpful! Everything I found felt like an actual treasure (SO MUCH GOOD STUFF!) and such a breath of fresh air to be at a thrift store with thrift store prices! Nothing was overpriced as far as I saw and I got the impression anything was up for negotiation but I didn’t feel the need since it all felt like a steal! I will be back a lot (likely weekly) because in one hour I barely brushed the surface of this gem!”

“I happened to have hit FF just 1-day before one of their 50% off sales, and, BOY!! did I get lucky! I furnished my entire 2-Br townhouse I had just rented entirely with furniture from Faith Farm Fort Lauderdale. NO one can believe that 1: the majority of the furniture is 2nd. hand or 2: what everything together cost me! I have to show my receipts to the more incredulously disbelieving folks 😌😉. Could Not be happier. Every time I have ever gone there over the years I have always found something unique, interesting, affordable- sometimes something I had no idea I “needed”… never been unhappy or had buyer’s remorse! Keep up the great work you do!”

Proceeds from the thrift store benefits the church mission programs like Hope Women's Center and Blessings in a Backpack which provides food insecure local elementary students with food every weekend. Thankfully the trailer was air conditioned. There are three rooms with men's, women's, and children's clothing, toys, household goods, and small appliances. There wasn't a huge amount of stuff but what they had was well organized and clearly marked. They even had some free bins as you walked in. Note that they are cash only. I ended up purchasing a decorative urn for only $5. I am going to try my hand at flower arranging with it. I would definitely stop in here again and there are a number of other thrift stores in the area as well.”

“My wife and I were in a position that we had to clean out a condo of clothing and household wares. This Goodwill Donation Center was such a convenient place for me to drop off many of these items for donation. They have great hours including weekends which makes it very convenient and we were able to drop off items when we were headed to the Publix grocery which is right next door. They have a very friendly and helpful staff and of course they give receipts if needed. As soon as we drove up, I asked for a cart which they brought to me very quickly. THey also help me unload it and get more bags and boxesThey do not sell anything here. They only accept donations, which was totally fine for my wife and myself. We were getting rid of items, not collecting more. KUDOs to the team at Goodwill Donation Center.”

“LOVE coming to this store and its clean, About 2 days ago I had alot of things in my cart but there was also a long line, Alicia helped me with the issues I had, and also made packing the items I had in my cart easy to take out, I love her customer service and paitence!!!! She told me she can't accept tips but I believe she deserves something for her hard work!!!! The back of the store is sometimes a mess and its hard to look through the clothing in some sections but overall I like the store.”
