“Love to bring in clothes to sell. I browse and shop while waiting. Every time I go is enjoyable. Should stop by and get yourself something. They have everything!”
“What a find!! An absolute Treasure Chest. Definitely a place to visit. Quality items, carefully selected at the right price. Free easy parking being an added bonus.”
“They had tons of stuff!! Was there for hours and still didn’t get through it all. Not even close!
Walked out with a pair of men’s shoes, hubby was trying them on in car immediately after and noticed a rip. So brought them back in less than 5 minutes and the lady at the front was gracious enough to let me exchange them! She was super sweet and pleasant.
**But one thing I have to mention is my husband went to the bathroom at the same time (after me) and he was told no, you can’t use the restroom?!! That was completely wrong. Maybe some workers are racist against men or what?
Otherwise everything was great! Thank you, I’ll be back next time I’m in town.”
“Ever since 2017. You helped me with food and helped me a lot with my diet. I tell everyone that has Lupus they need to apply. You always treated me like a person. And that is special to me. Thank you.”
“Love this place! They have the best selection of Harley vintage tees, Florida sports team shirts and jackets as well as nostalgic items. Vintage Clubhouse is a must stop for unique vintage clothing!”

“I absolutely love this store. I try to drop by at least once a week. I always seem to find a new treasure. The store is organized well and the volunteers are kind and friendly. David the manager is a gem. Happy thrifting!”
“You can find all sorts of good stuff here. It’s has a great vibe and things are priced very reasonably. Staff are super helpful, too. All around excellent spot”
“Families in Need is a thrift store that supports Spirit of Life Power International, a nonprofit organization that builds schools and provides programs designed to help low-income autistic teenagers and young adults gain education, life skills, and independence.
The organization offers free pickup of gently used, unwanted items, which are then resold at their thrift store on Federal Highway in Hollywood.
I've passed this store several times and have always been curious about it, so today I finally stopped in. Outside, they had a selection of furniture, including a swing chair that would be perfect for a Florida room, as well as a stand-up paddleboard and a few other interesting pieces.
Inside, I found a large, open showroom featuring furniture, mattresses, home goods, glassware, clothing, shoes, accessories, and more. The items appeared to be in good condition, and the prices I checked seemed very reasonable.
I would likely stop in again and would recommend Families in Need for anyone shopping on a budget, especially for furniture or someone that wants to supports a worthwhile cause.”
“I happened to have hit FF just 1-day before one of their 50% off sales, and, BOY!! did I get lucky! I furnished my entire 2-Br townhouse I had just rented entirely with furniture from Faith Farm Fort Lauderdale. NO one can believe that 1: the majority of the furniture is 2nd. hand or 2: what everything together cost me! I have to show my receipts to the more incredulously disbelieving folks 😌😉. Could Not be happier. Every time I have ever gone there over the years I have always found something unique, interesting, affordable- sometimes something I had no idea I “needed”… never been unhappy or had buyer’s remorse! Keep up the great work you do!”
“We love this place!! Prices are the best around. Often have all clothes at $1. Kitchen stuff like bowls vases cups etc are pricef appropriately like u would expect secondhand stuff to be at $1 each. The people are very nice too.”
“I love this location. They’re always so kind and friendly. They were the first thrift shop I tried out in the area when moving and have stayed being my favorite.”

“LOVE coming to this store and its clean, About 2 days ago I had alot of things in my cart but there was also a long line, Alicia helped me with the issues I had, and also made packing the items I had in my cart easy to take out, I love her customer service and paitence!!!! She told me she can't accept tips but I believe she deserves something for her hard work!!!! The back of the store is sometimes a mess and its hard to look through the clothing in some sections but overall I like the store.”
“Cancel your plans for the afternoon - This place is a full-blown treasure hunt in the best way possible. Racks, rows, shelves and bins for days. If you think you are just popping in for a quick look, think again. You could spend an entire day here and still find something new hiding in plain sight. One minute you are flipping through racks, the next you are holding something you did not know you needed until that exact moment. The lady who works there is the cherry on top. Friendly, welcoming, and very fair with pricing. No awkward hovering, just good vibes and honest deals. If you love thrifting, digging, and the thrill of finding that one perfect item, this place is a must.”
“Ferlande and her team at this location go above and beyond to make me feel welcomed and have a fun fun experience. I look forward to seeing them as I shop always.”
“I loooove this store! Found gorgeous bookends, golden leaf curtain pulls and spiral candles perfect for Christmas ? Almost every item was half off and you will definitely find some gems. Highly recommended ?”
“I had a wonderful experience here! From the moment I walked in, everyone was incredibly kind, welcoming, and genuinely happy to help. It's refreshing to find a place where the employees treat every customer with such care and respect.
The prices are also very reasonable, especially considering the quality of the products and service. You can tell they truly value their customers and go the extra mile to make sure you leave satisfied.
I highly recommend this place to anyone looking for great prices and outstanding customer service. I'll definitely be coming back!”
“The thrift store at St Ambrose Episcopal Church is amazing. Five rooms full of everything you need for yourself, kids, pets, and home. A lot of vintage finds are priced well below what I've seen at the Salvation Army or Goodwill. Open Saturdays from 9 to 12 pm only. A must!”
“This review is for the church thrift store open on Monday's, Wednesday's, and Saturday's from 10 AM until 1PM in a trailer on the back church property. Proceeds from the thrift store benefits the church mission programs like Hope Women's Center and Blessings in a Backpack which provides food insecure local elementary students with food every weekend. Thankfully the trailer was air conditioned. There are three rooms with men's, women's, and children's clothing, toys, household goods, and small appliances. There wasn't a huge amount of stuff but what they had was well organized and clearly marked. They even had some free bins as you walked in. Note that they are cash only. I ended up purchasing a decorative urn for only $5. I am going to try my hand at flower arranging with it. I would definitely stop in here again and there are a number of other thrift stores in the area as well.”
“What you're looking at are all my findings of 2025! Lol no, this wasn't all in one day, but rather many days to months since I always keep coming back. The staff is very nice and there are great prices for many items. I'm considered a Gen Z, but I also have a warm, fuzzy spot for physical media, and after all, I was born at the right time when VHS was still common. If you're searching specifically for VHS, CDs, etc. I promise you that YOU WILL SCORE!”

“Went to donate jeans with the tags still on them, it was accepted and taken to a special area to keep them well kept. Very kind, and I was very appreciative of the worker on staff to lend me her ear for my story. We all go through tough times, but god has us.”

“So, this is a review for the Goodwill Drop Off at Galt Ocean Mile. I didn't find a Yelp page for this location. Anyways, I've been donating here for many years now and the personnel are always nice and efficient and the inside is clean. It is only accepting donations, there is no store. They offer receipts. Today I left some clothes. Highly recommend using this service!:)”
