“Our High School swim team held its end of season banquet at the Wyndham Resort Deerfield, and it was a fantastic experience. The location was beautiful and convenient, creating a celebratory atmosphere for the team and families. The food was absolutely amazing - fresh, well presented and enjoyed by everyone. We couldn't ask for a better venue to celebrate a successful season and would highly recommend it for group events and banquets.”

“I'm so glad I finally tried this hotel! I've stayed at three other hotels in LBTS and I've always been intrigued by Sea Lord based on the outdoor appearance and it being adults only. I recently stayed here for a week with my sister and overall, we were very happy with our stay. I would mainly like to shout out Oldane at the front desk and Maria with housekeeping. Both of these women were one of the highlights of my stay. Both of them were so helpful, attentive and had such positive attitudes which was very appreciated by me and my sister. I never once needed to ask for towels, toiletries, or my room to be cleaned (they clean everyday) which may sound silyl but I didn't have that same experience at some of the other hotels in the area. I was able to check in early and keep my room late on check out which was extremely convenient with my travel schedule. Beach chairs and umbrellas are available for a fee, which I knew ahead of time. I didn't mind because these lounge chairs were a lot more comfortable than the chairs that some of the other hotels provide (some of the hotels don't have chairs at all). The guy who handled the chairs were very nice and friendly too. The hotel is right on the beach which was perfect and is very close to the strip of restaurants and shops. The rooms were a little outdated but I also expected this going into it as I read that in other comments. Didn't really bother me though. My only complaints which didn't majorly affect my stay anyways were the restaurant onsite was closed the whole time (we were looking forward to trying) and they had quite a lot of construction going on. Like I said, neither ruined our trip but did wish both of these were disclosed to us ahead of time. The only other con I'd highlight is there's no lounge chairs by the pool, only sitting chairs/tables. I personally love to lounge by the pool, especially on days where the weather isn't super reliable so I do wish they had lounge chairs by the pool. Overall, I was really happy with my stay and would stay here again. The service truly made the trip and I look forward to hopefully coming back again soon!”

“First off, wow!

I am a solo female traveller. Tropic Isle Beach Resort is hands down in the top 3 places I have stayed at. I had a 10 day stay. This beautiful boutique stay is just a 2 minute walk from the beach, and on the quiet end of Deerfield beach at that.

Check in and check out was seamless and hassle free. Couldn't ask for a better experience with the hands-off approach, but I was able to contact the manager at any time.

They provide beach towels and chairs for guest convenience, which is so helpful - you don't realize how nice a beach chair is to have on the beach until you try it!

I felt very safe at the property. I never felt "exposed" to the street. The property is gated and surrounded with hedges for privacy with cameras for safety. It feels so secluded and private. The staff are standout. They are accommodating and helpful. The housekeeping staff in particular are fantastic. The daily linen service is a plus, and its only when you need to use them.

The pool is clean and is well maintained. Dishes and other appliances are also well maintained.

I usually stay at hotels when I travel to south FL for safety, but I am so happy to have made the jump to try a more intimate and smaller property. I will definitely be staying Tropic Isle next time I am in Florida.”

“Impressive sophisticated visual, service and gastronomic experience at the "Waldorf Astoria Resort Boca Raton", very close to South Beach. It has a large, spacious and warm reception lobby with excellently trained human service capital, with 15 years since its inauguration in its 208 luxury rooms with sober elegance, spacious, with views of the Atlantic Ocean.
The complex has 3 swimming pools and an outdoor jacuzzi with a waterfall from above that is worth observing.
A true pleasure to walk through its outdoor space where you can enjoy the green of its golf courses ⛳️ immersed among its native palm trees ?.
It is very complete with massage services, clothing stores inside and restaurants.
Great view from its executive lounge in the "Tower" which is also exceptional and even better experience if you stay there, since its rooms have windows on high-rise floors, where you enjoy a 360° view.
Its very varied, high-quality and personalized international continental buffet breakfast stood out. It is very spacious with very high ceilings with sunlight and a natural atmosphere.

“We used to have a seasonal home in Lauderdale By The Sea and we knew about this hotel the high noon it was everything and above it's pretty much adults all the clientele is extremely warm and friendly the staff is great location location! “Amazing hotel but the doors are extremely loud when being closed in the hallway. When a door is closed, the inside of your room has an extremely loud bang. That’s means you’re up at about 8am when it all begins and hear it at night when guests arrive back to their rooms.

Service is amazing! Really friendly staff. Expect 20% gratuity added to every bill… yes, that includes buying a cigar. Valet parking is available at about $60 per day.

The pool area is exquisite but for hotel guests and member too; sadly not available if you have friends or family come to visit.

I really wanted to rank this at 5 stars as I like it much better than the Breakers… hope they fix the hallway/room sounds!

Rooms: Room are exceptionally clean but loud because of a flaw in design.

Nearby activities: The hotel is close to downtown Boca Raton, giving you options right outside the gates.

Safety: Extremely safe!

Walkability: The hotel grounds are extremely large and walkable. It’s also a walk to the beach.

“We had an amazing experience here for the last four nights. The staff is all amazing, so genuinely kind and lovely to be around. The woman who ran the breakfast buffet, not sure of spelling but her name is Carmalite, she was a true gem of a woman. The best smile and just a huge heart, I loved her. Breakfast was great too! The rooms were very clean, the women cleaning the rooms were all so wonderful and kind too. The beds were pretty comfortable, and the location was fantastic. This was a really great experience, highly recommend!”

“We stayed here because it was the only hotel walkable to our meals host on Shabbat. The accommodations were comfortable and the service pleasant. The decor and general atmosphere however are quite odd and random. Sort of a low budget retro mashup. Not cushy or elegant retro however. It’s more like trying to be cool and stylish but doesn’t make it. Some aspects are a bit impractical (eg under bed drawers rather than a dresser).
None-the-less. The price and location were right and satisfied our needs.

“This is the only hotel I book when I visit Pompano Beach. The management at this location is always so hospitable and has great rates for families of children at Broward Children Center which I wholeheartedly appreciate. I will be renting a room there again, this month....and finally decided to leave a review because I just adore this hotel.Rooms: The rooms are updated with modern fixtures and utilities. Very nice quality and nicely decorated always, and the rooms are always clean.Safety: The neighborhood is busy, but more upscale..didn't see too much loitering or weird activity, it was safe for me because I always take safety precautions when traveling.Walkability: It's restaurants within walking distance, as well as convince stores. I caught Uber everywhere, but could definitely have walked to most locationsFood & drinks: They have soda machines and snacks for purchase in hotel lobby, a hot bar/breakfast in the mornings which is a nice amenities, but you have Popeyes close by, Hooks Fish and Chicken and again, convenience stores.”

“Taking time out to fill the survey means something. I was told when one person feels a certain way regarding business 100 people feel the same way. I never went on vacations growing up in fact, my first official vacation was in 2015. I can count on one hand how many vacations I’ve been on. I live in Florida and coming to this hotel in Fort Lauderdale is absolutely positively everything. I imagined a vacation to be. I’m sure there’s probably other nice hotels in Fort Lauderdale but I simply can’t imagine staying anywhere else coupled with my overall experience with this hotel. They made my weekend I seem to stay with them yearly. I can’t wait to do it again. ??Rooms: Rome were super clean super immaculate. I love the fact that I don’t have to bring shampoo, conditioner or soap or lotion often times those things aren’t good and Hotel these things were amazing.”

“Stuck me in a room with a 4 - 5 inch matress with some back killing springs at first but they made it right after I talked to the front desk about it. Unfortunately you have to use Valet which is pricy and the Valet service is slow. It took 30-45 mins to get my car which made me late to work 3 days in a row... they said they were busy delivering packages. I had called ahead of time too.”

“It is an old motel that has been updated. The room was very clean with a king sized bed and a big TV. We had a snack in the courtyard on one of the tables. The pool had lots of room to swim and enjoy the sun. The staff was very friendly. Next door was the visitor center with all the travel info you need. It's just a 5 minute walk to downtown Lauderdale by the Sea. With lots of shops and restaurants. “Stopped in for just one night for a quick trip to Boca and was impressed all around. The room was very spacious and well maintained and the beds were comfortable. The breakfast was a little underwhelming but was standard as far as continental breakfast lineups go. Check-in was very friendly and they did me a major benefit by allowing me to check in nearly 2 1/2 hours early at no cost. Plenty of parking and free wifi. The Yamato area where this hotel is located has lots of food options nearby and if you don't mind walking 10 minutes you will be there. For the price of the nearby hotels, this one takes my pick for where to stay.”
