“If I could give more stars I would after my wonderful experience today!!! I was using the wrong location when checking my weekly ad online. When I got to store I went straight to the pork chops that were on sale...for what I thought .99/ cents a pound. What a fantastic deal right?! Well, they were not on sale at this store but another one so I was in error. I drove almost 30 miles to get this special. The young man from meat dept was exceptional in all ways, kind, understanding, helpful above and beyond. When he figured out my error, he said let me go speak with the manager of the store, Mr. Elvis, After hearing of my long drive, he too was kind and generous enough to honor the other store's price rather then their own good price at $1.49/pound. He arranged for me to go to Gina in aisle 3 when I was ready to check out with my pork chops. So, back the young man and I go to get what I was buying. He even offered to carry my hand basket concerned if it was too heavy for me. Gina was just as helpful, pleasant and kind. This superior service by every single employee I met today CLEARLY shows their commitment to their customers!!!!! I am, by nature a person who feels very blessed in life, so I look for ways to be grateful, and to say thank you for the blessings that are bestowed upon me. Winn-Dixie, you are doing something right and wonderful with employees as spectacular as just the few I met today. Thank you thank you thank you so very much for this wonderful experience today! I will be back with great expectations that every one is as wonderful too.”

“After dealing with Walgreen’s inept and non-caring about my emphysema meds, then told they do not fill those medications, I met Misty at Walmart Pharmacy. She does not give up and goes above and beyond her duties. Not only did she get my prescipts but she got my co-pay reduced from $600 to $0 for one of three meds that I need to survive. She knows me by name and is always trying new things to get them approved and co-pays reduced. She even calls my doctor to work with them and get them approved by my insurance company. She is quite an asset to Walmart pharmacy. Thank You Misty! I hope you are paid well for your dedication!”
“I have always had good experiences with Walgreens, it's employees and products. My insurance company is am better and they are the only ones who accept it to my knowledge and I am grateful for that. My pharmacist is top notch and really does care about my health. There was a time at the first of the year where I didn't realize I needed pre-authorization for a prescription and my pharmacist helped me out with enough supply of the medicine to get me a pre-authorization done through my doctors. I don't know of any other that would do the same. And I am grateful.”

Loblaw Companies Limited is putting serious money into its retail network this year. Canada's largest food and pharmacy retailer announced it will spend $2.4 billion in 2026 to open new stores, renovate existing locations and strengthen its supply chain. The company plans to open 70 new stores in 2026. That includes 34 Shoppers Drug Mart and Pharmaprix pharmacies and care clinics, along with 31 hard-discount No Frills and Maxi grocery stores. On top of the new openings, Loblaw will renovate another 191 stores and continue construction on a roughly 1.2 million-square-foot automated distribution center in Caledon, Ontario.
