The house is long gone, but im glad they're still open. I used to walk back, step over our barbwire fence, & I'd see a guy burning all the hair off the hog with a torch. To an 11 year old from the big cities of the west coast, this was a wild scene for me!”

“So many wonderful choices for spices and harder to find produce. Bustling and busy, obviously many regulars, which is an excellent sign of a good establishment. The staff was friendly, they were helpful and they were constantly tidying and trying to keep the place in order (not an easy task with so many customers coming through).I only needed a few things, but was glad to find soy milk and wonderful instant coffee choices. I also picked up a mango, which incidentally turned out to be one of the sweetest mangoes I have ever eaten.Hope to visit again.”

“I go in for an aloe water after the gym usually. I'm almost always in and out on the occasions the cashier speaks English. A couple of them respond to any inquiries I have with "no hablo Ingles" so I don't get much useful info but I only want the one or two things so it's whatever”
“Facts: arrived the night before around 2030, had an 0430 appt, they knocked on my door around 0330, and I was out by 0412. There’s on street parking right in front. Doors don’t open until 0330. I had 9 pallets, 329 cases, with a lumper fee of $175. They take Comdata checks and express codes. No app. Opinion: Very tight backing, really meant for box trucks, but I got into door 3 with FL Cascadia Condo and 53’ trlr. Very fast and friendly service. There are bathrooms inside if needed, but only after doors open. Very small dead end street parking on both sides of available. Pro tip: Do not try to turn around at end of street, you’ll get stuck, and there’s cameras looking for trucks damaging property.”
“I love this store. They sell many products from Latin America. The excellent bakery! They have empanadas from Venezuela, Colombia and Argentina. The coffee is also very good. Good prices. Lavtuenda is very clean and the employees are friendly.”
“After reading some of the reviews I was almost encouraged not to shop at the store. However on my three and a half mile run I end up running into the store. I went in the store with the intentions of getting a couple of things and end up spending $175. The price is though are really really expensive for the items throughout the store. The guy in the meat department was amazing very welcoming and helped me with exactly the cuts of meats I requested. Walking throughout the aisles was clean sanitized and no smell at all. The customer service at the cashier her name is I believe she said Michi or Mickey (sonething with an M)but the receipt says Raven whom explain to me she was only there for one week. The customer service she provided to me was beyond amazing as if she was one of the owners of the stores. I would absolutely be shopping here for my meats. The meats was on the expensive side but the quality of the meat and the presentation of the meat is what drew me to buy. There was seating for me to sit while I was waiting on my Uber nice and clean. Moving through the line with almost immediate if not immediate. I send much gratitude to the corporate office the owners and operators of this store. And I pray that the cashier and the meat butcher gets praised as they So deserved. If I had 10,000 tongues I'll thank you 10,000 times to the staff there.”
“Very grateful they unloaded me the day before my appointment, you can sleep in the place if you arrive before they open the gate, otherwise there is a space on the side for two trucks, thank you guys for valuing our time ????”
“The place is too clean, the chickens are very big and plump ? the eggs are not expensive, what you expect you can buy a drink or some cookies, they have a little of everything in grains, I would come back once again ? since the quails are They finish quickly, I came in the afternoon, the best time is undoubtedly in the morning, they gave me the entire chicken ??”

“Besides our food taking longer for lunchtime, all sandwiches we ordered were delicious. I ordered a reuben sandwich and it had a perfect ratio of all the ingredients, they also swapped rye bread for sourdough- definitely a great recommendation. Atmosphere is very family oriented and there is a lot of returning customers, so service can be little slower. Overall tasty work lunch, definitely worth the wait.
P.S. My ratings are based on whether I believe I could make a better or healthier version at home. If food/drinks/service impress me, I’ll be happy to come back. If not the stars reflect that.”
