“This butcher shop has been around for two generations. Mike is a stand up guy who is a one man show carrying on his father’s legacy. The bacon and Italian sausage was amazing. Trying the chuck, flank steak and chicken next. Pre-orders only but if you stop in Mike will give you the run down. Ordering a whole brisket for our next party. Closed Sunday thru Tuesday. We placed an order Saturday for pickup Wednesday. You can call your order in. A true local gem! Thank you Mike”
“Can’t rave enough about this place. Staff was so friendly. If you want meat cut a certain way they do it for you. There cookies and stuffed potato’s are to die for. Their salmon and king crab legs are the best I have ever had.”
“This is my first time at this location I usually go to fletcher but I was very pleased it was clean and brightly lit. The customer service was excellent from the butcher to the cashier and it was easy to find what I needed.”
“An extraordinary market place where one might find all the tastes of Arabic cuisine, from breads, biscuits, teas & coffee, to fresh butcher and produce. The staff are polite above and beyond, and are helpful for customers unfamiliar. I do provide "5" Stars due to this expriance of visiting and enjoying what felt like a holiday to a far away land.Ramadan Kareem.”
“Being a tourist, not aware so many would be closed. I was so happy to be here at Christmas day at 4pm. They closed at 5 pm so I had time to investigate the store. They have do many strange fresh vetables. I saw Aloe vera and cactus. And you could order fresh meat. The music played Salsa and the atmosphere was so cheerful. I danced a little in the store. The staff did the same.”
“The prices were better than a lot of other meat markets. The store was clean with no funky odors. The quality of the meat looks fresh and presented well! This will be my go-to place from now on for meats and odds and ends!”
“They have exactly what you're looking for, and they even have fresh fruit and veggies
They also have fried chicken, pork chops, and breakfast there”
“I enjoy the family atmosphere. The people were very kind. They allowed me to taste a food item which was a goat stew. It was SO delicious! My son's, who can be picky, devoured it!!! They want to go back. This place was recommended to me, and now I recommend it to you.”
“I have shopped here for years, and I always stop here when I'm back in town. I am a gringo, I strongly disagree w/Gordon Smith, who said if you're not Latino you're gonna be treated "like scum." You should have the decency to know just some Spanish to order your food, if you want to try their excellent deli. Hey, the girls at the checkout are usually singing, happy. I always leave happy. Just don't go in acting like you're something special. I'll be there in 5 days, my mouth is watering and I can't wait for my Cafe con leche!!”
“Last couple times I bought fish at either Lotte Markets it turned out hard and rubbery. Do they soak it in a chemical bath to increase the shelf life or something? Anyways the produce selection was awesome. Great prices.
Fun to walk around to check out the cool foreign products. We bought a Middle Eastern cookie, I think it was used as a desert for completing Ramadan or something, but wow...tasted like soap. Totally blew $7.
Lots of products for Muslims and Hindus.”
“Great place. The prices are great. The hot food section and food is one of the best I have had in Tampa. I only wish they would close a little later. Getting of work at 5:00, when I get there I feel I have to rush into buying what I need. So when I go there I try to have my list of needed items ready. I would recommend. The owner ate from Dominican Republic, so I love it because I find that they something have fruits from the Island that I love.”
“Ive been eating here lately for lunch & its just so amazing each day, getting fresh authentic Spanish food ? definitely check them out if you’re in the area looking for a nice portioned lunch for your moneys worth!!! Super friendly & helpful staff also!!”

“Before spanish colmados started popping up like mushrooms in a wet pasture, many years ago this place was my go to for latino products. Two decades later, there is just one thing I come for, whole goat leg.Nothing much has changed here. A small very crowded (with product) market with small aisles that houses all the basic essentials for latin american ciusine. A butcher shop provides fresh chicken, beef and pork. Most all other products like rabbit, seafood, goat and lamb are sold frozen. An aisle with fresh vegetables and fruit and the entire back and one side offer refrigerated drinks and various other sundries.Located on W. Waters Ave. and Manhattan the shop is a cornerstone to a 2 level plaza (strip center). Here as long as I can remember it seems like it's caught in time and looks exactly the same.”
“great place to experience great customer service great place for me great place to buy quick Essentials and awesome experience in customer service that you won't receive in a warehouse where you going to walk 200 ft just to save 10 cents”
“First time. Good deal on meat packages. They look fresh. Store did not smell bad at all like other meat markets and some grocery stores around town.Once I cook the meat I'll update.”
“Clean atmosphere and surroundings, despite the neighborhood, being low income, filled with drugs and homelessness. Prices are higher than those of larger chain stores. However, they offer ethical items that are not widely available. The staff is friendly and happy to serve regardless of the language barrier. Freshly cooked meat and vegetables food items are attractively displayed and enjoyed by busy patrons. Respectfully and your good wishes”
“I went to eat next doorbread with fish minuteThe flavor is incredible and the special treatment is very professional.I recommend it to everybodyI will go again soon and I told my friends”
“We ordered the food for our baby shower here, it was delicious. Everyone loved it. We got yellow rice, rice with black beans. Stewed meat and stewed chicken. Salad and sweet plantains.”
“Nice mart they have all the Brazilian goods. There is a restaurant inside but we didn’t have time to try it out. Very clean and friendly staff, just took a while to check out”
“My husband decided to stop there to grab a quick meal. The place does not disappoint. They have many options of meat, including beef, pork, and chicken, all cooked in different ways. The lady who served us was really nice , showed us all the different types of dishes and gave us enough food for 2 in one plate. We got white rice, black beans, ropa vieja and yuca.”
“I LO?E THIS PLACE. THEY HAVE YUMMY HOT FOOD???? AND REALLY G??D PRESSED CUBANS THE FOOD IS GOOD AND THE PRICES ARE GREAT. I LO?E SPICED HAM? AND HAVEN'T FOUND A PLACE THAT SELLS IT SINCE I LEFT NYC. THEY HAVE IT THERE ?✋. IF YOU HAVE NEVER BEEN THERE B4 YOU 2 GO YOU WILL BE HAPPY ????”
“Had a problem with package. Called customer service and got a hold of Michele out of Houston. She was great. Every thing I would want in my customer service; polite, knowledgeable, and friendly. Great service all around.”
“The bakery in this market is awesome! The ladies in the back are so kind and very helpful in explaining the items to me, someone that has no knowledge of the types of freshly baked goods made daily. They were so kind that they allowed me to taste one of the pastries first. When I bit into the dough it was like biting into a fluffy cloud with the delicious three cheeses inside. It was such a positive experience and the food being so delicious that I find myself going back on a regular basis.”
“For those that care...
Since the closing of Silver Ring in WC, it has been impossible to find a real Cuban sandwich north of Hillsborough County. Far too many places serve a Miami (no salami), use pulled pork (rather than sliced), or simply get the ingredient ratios all wrong.
I have intended to try Mac's Custom Meats, 26316 Wesley Chaple Blvd (near the airport), for what seems like several years. I finally did.
I am thrilled to say, Wesley Chapel now has a proper Cuban Sandwich!”
