I was very disappointed with my experience buying new tires at this location. First, I was told that if I dropped my car off early it would be done in 2 hours so I was there at 8am. I didn’t get my car back until after 3:30pm - 7.5 hours after I dropped off.
The second issue was the workmanship. As seen in these photos, they didn’t bother to clean up after the installation. No one should have their vehicle returned to them looking worse than when it was dropped off but I just wanted to get on with my day and left. However, upon further inspection when I got home, I found that 3 out of 4 of my brand new tires were missing caps, so I immediately went straight back to the store. They initially tried to give me the cheap, flimsy, plastic caps that we all know don’t last very long but when I brought it to their attention they miraculously found the 3 metal caps that matched the one already on my car.
Did they ultimately resolve the issue? Yes, but it shouldn’t have taken a second trip AND an additional complaint to get to that point.
I won’t be returning.

TERRIBLE. I made an appointment and explained to the gentleman on the phone that the current tires on my vehicle are going on to the new wheels which are the same size as my current wheels. I show up at 8am since, the guy on the phone also told me that the previous day didn’t have any openings and the next one would be first thing Sunday, to figure out that they actually don’t swap used tires here. In the time that I waited the gentleman at the counter told the person in front of me that was also told to get there at 8 am on Sunday that they don’t have anyone to patch her tire and that the guy on the phone should not have told her to show up that early. So if you want your tires patched or changed go to somewhere, anywhere besides this Pep Boys. they obviously don’t like doing their. Also the entire parking lot is filled with customer cars. new customers either had to park in the handicap or park in front of the bays and block vehicles in the shop. Over all terrible experience. I liked pep boys before this but now i will never be going back

Came in last min on a Friday night w nail in my tire. Ken was literally a life saver and I am so thankful there were able to help me out. They were kind patient and understanding of the desperation I was in. Thank you Ken and team!

You get screwed every way possible. They will charge you for parts that they haven't changed. Plus they won't do your car all day even if they say they're about to work on it. Don't trust them.

Professional, timely and straightforward--EVEN on a Sunday! Diagnosed cracked radiator on a 2002 Toyota Tacoma quoted accurate and reasonable repair cost and made repair in hours not days. The team was a joy to work with and I will definitely return for future work!

I had an appointment time for a tire rotation today at Pep Boys, Lutz #1687 at 4:00pm. I arrived early and the tire bay was open. They told me it would be about 30 minutes.
Someone else showed up and the bay was used for their car ahead of my appointment time. An hour later my car was pulled in while techs lifted the hood and talked and joked around and my tires were NOT being rotated. I was told they were doing a courtesy inspection (they should do a courtesy tire rotation which is what my appointment was for). I asked for my keys so I could leave. This is a ridiculous way to treat a customer with an established appointment time to do the simplest task in the entire shop accept maybe change wiper blades.
I bought these tires at a premium price at this store so that I could easily have my tires rotated. I have also been a customer for many years.
I will never spend another penny at any Pep Boys location.
What a ridiculous experience!

Excellent Service and knowledgeable staff! I purchased a set of Michelin Cross Climate 2 tires for my 2018 Mercedes AMG GLS43 and I couldn’t be happier!
John was a great help getting the exact tires I needed for all-weather driving. Matt did a great job making sure my special requests were taken care of in a timely manner!
The staff took great care of my SUV, I appreciate everyone’s efforts greatly!
