I will be a return customer! Thank you for handling everything so efficiently and smoothly! They ordered a new tire for me, called me when it was in, installed it quickly - can’t ask for better. Thanks!

2/27/24. Can't tell you what the service was but it was done in a timely manner. Exceptional service and worthy of mentioning on a public forum. I recently moved into the Lutz area and was surprised to see a Pep Boys shop close to my residence. The last time l was in a Pep Boys shop was about 30 years ago near my former residence. Will need an oil change and tire rotation in the near future. Guess where I'm going.

Great people, great manager. I walked in with 4 trailer tires that needed to be changed out with new ones (purchased them over Amazon). The valve stems were potentially bad, and may have needed to be replaced. I was quoted a price for just the mounting (no stems) and he gave me a receipt for dropping off the rims. Turns out the stems were all bad. The manager went ahead and replaced them at no charge so he could stand by his original quote. That's integrity! For comparison, I first visited Tire Kingdom down the road for the same job to be done, was quoted $20 more (without the valve stems).. I didn't use them because the salesperson refused to give me a receipt for the valuable rims I was dropping off. ALSO, when I was there...another customer shouted to me "Don't trust them!"

Beware: Not trustworthy.I had an oil leak from the Oil Filter Adapter Gasket while on vacation in Knoxville, TN. Went to Pep Boys in Knoxville to have it fixed. I have an invoice quoting $25 for gasket and $70 to remove and replace oil filter adapter gasket. They had to order the Gasket and I decided to drive home and get it fixed locally.Took my vehicle to Pep Boys in Land O Lakes on SR 54. They quoted me $900. They said they were unable to purchase the Gasket separately and had to replace the entire oil filter assembly. $275+ for the part and $600+ labor, over $900 in total.I drove to KIA in Wesley Chapel and purchased the Oil Filter Adapter Gasket for $28.00. Then went to Pep Boys and showed them the $28.00 gasket and asked why are you quoting $900 to replace the entire oil filter assembly when all I need replaced is a $28.00 gasket. Pep boys said KIA in Wesley Chapel stated they did not have the Gasket so they would have to purchase the entire oil filter assembly. Not True...In summary I'm afraid If I needed a tune up and Pep Boys are unable to locate Spark Plugs, They'll end up quoting me to replace the entire engine assembly.Beware: This shop is not trustworthy based on my experience. 1/11/2024.

I recently had the unfortunate experience of purchasing four tires and an alignment service from Pep Boys, and it has been nothing short of a nightmare. From the outset, the problems began with a botched alignment that left me questioning the competence of their service technicians. After realizing the alignment was performed incorrectly, I requested that they rectify the issue or, at the very least, remove the tires and refund the service. To my disbelief, the staff informed me that I could keep the tires and that corporate would issue a refund of the $900 I had paid for the services. However, my optimism quickly turned to frustration when I received a call today 2 weeks later informing me that my refund had been denied. According to Pep Boys, the employee who made the promise did not have the authority to grant me a refund. This lack of communication and accountability within the company is simply unacceptable. Not only did I waste my time and money on a service that was not performed correctly, but now I find myself stuck with a hefty bill and no resolution in sight. The disregard for customer satisfaction and the inability to honor promises made by their own employees speaks volumes about the overall professionalism and integrity of Pep Boys.I am thoroughly disappointed with this entire ordeal and would caution anyone considering their services to think twice before entrusting Pep Boys with their vehicle needs. The lack of accountability and customer care demonstrated in this situation is a clear indication that Pep Boys falls short of providing the quality service they claim to offer. Save yourself the trouble and look elsewhere for reliable and trustworthy automotive services.

Told me I had a MASSIVE oil leak when I was originally there for my coolant leaking (it still is btw) so they charged me $530 dollars for a lie and then gave me back my car with the engine light on when it wasn’t on before ? also complained about treatment/being talked down to and they had the same man I dealt with call me.. yeah that makes sense guys. Thanks for scammin like the rest I wouldn’t expect less ?
