“I visited the store on 11/13/2022 with my 4 year old around 1-2pm. The store was wonderful but this review is for the two girls working. After leaving the store, I noticed that I lost $30 cash. I retraced my steps back to this store and the girls had the money behind the counter with a sticky note on it. In todays world, I was so happy to see the honesty of these two young ladies. Honesty is so important and these young ladies are a true asset to your company! We'll be back this holiday season to buy some toys!”

“Much less candy than I remember from the Lakeland store. Don't know where they get these sodas, but it's like hot sauce joints. Most horrible flavors imaginable (Mustard, Grass, Bacon)?. YET, I found(in the cooler, no less) Jones Soda Limited Edition Orange Chocolate Soda. Growing up fiending for those Terry break apart chocolate oranges, this was mind blowing. Bought it, opened it, put it to my lips, and I swore I would love it to the end of time?(apologies to Meatloaf). Need to Amazon a case”
“The staff at my tobbies has been extremely helpful to me the last few weeks. I am in the middle of a good 'ol fashion grudge match with a buddy of mine. Now, I'm not the most patient, nor am I the most proficient guy, as I only got into the hobby because of said buddy. When I was explained to the guys why I was there, and what I needed to do(speedy gonzalez) the boys got to work. Beau has been amazing, both with his knowledge and rc skill. I started with one car, and quickly jumped in with both feet, as I tend to do when I'm enjoying myself. To the staff, thanks boys. I feel valued and heard, and these guys had no problem understanding my need for speed. Love the store as well. 1 sleeper car speed build quickly turned into a present gone monstrously right in my slo to lightning dr10, then we went after my buddies super slash by transforming my own. The boys haven't worked on or sen the sleeper yet, but provided the parts and recommendations for me to crush my rival. I'm one happy camper.”
“We celebrated my daughter’s 8th birthday there today and had a great time. The staff was wonderful and helpful, everything went as smoothly as possible and all the girls had so much fun. Would definitely recommend!”
“My closest shop closed down and Hobbytown came to fill the void where I would have had to drive three to four times as far to find what I needed or to browse new things. I understand they have just recently opened their doors and the it is a HUGE shop, but being a very large franchise I would have expected it to be filled by now.
I am a scale modeler hoping for the store to be filled to the brim here soon. But time will tell.
I would have rated better, however, the selection of scale military, auto, space, and fantasy is limited right now. I hope to see improvements soon.
This far their RC sections are decent but need more selection options. Aircraft and water craft seem not be be priority equip to cars, trucks, and racers. Granted they are promoting their awesome tracks, which I am impressed with. I do however love the fact they have RC construction and military vehicles. I plan on purchasing when funds become available... they are a bit expensive these days.
Modeling tools and diorama opportunities need to be drastically expanded.
Even though this seems to be a negative review it's not. I'm looking forward to this shop being my future go to shop.”

“Alex, the owner, is ABSOLUTELY AWESOME!! My family and I walked by the store and some EPIC 1/4th scale Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles models and a stunning Freddy Krueger model from Nightmare on Elm Street 3 were on display. 1 of the turtles was missing from the set but he guaranteed he could get it for me by the next day. We went back and he had everything ready for me and the transaction ready to go. What an AWESOME way to do business and make customers happy!! We will absolutely be back.”
“It started to rain while I was in the store, and the worker had noticed I was using an arm crutch as I am disabled, when I checked out she not only walked me to my car with an umbrella over me, but carried my bags so I didn't have to struggle. It was so sweet and kind. Very pleasant experience.”
