Bargain Basket Thrift Shop is a wonderful shop with great finds and treasures to be found. It is a unique place with an incredible selection of high end gently used clothing and housewares, including art, small furniture, electronics, linens, dishes, and kitchenware. There is a constant turnover of items, meaning you may see something and it is gone and replaced in one hour. The shop is very clean and well organized, with a boutique section for higher end items and bargain racks with incredibly low prices, including three-dollar finds. Proceeds support local charity. Pleasant employees and volunteers provide great service. The shop is considered by many to be the best thrift shop, a mandatory drop-in for locals or visitors, and a great bargain find on Marco Island. It is worth your time to take a look around every corner as you never know what hidden treasure you will find. There are sections for men, women, children, shoes, purses, jewelry, and accessories. Customers are happy to give new life to these beautiful items, calling it the ultimate recycling. My advice is not to buy anything for your home without checking the Bargain Basket first.

One of my favorite places to visit whenever I’m on the island. Always has a huge selection of items for great prices and the staff is very kind. Will is extremely helpful every time. I definitely recommend stopping by!

I enjoyed shopping here. It was extremely crowded but there were lots of goodies to be found. I was impressed with the fact that all proceeds go to charity. All of the volunteers were very nice. I bought jewelry and 2 pair of Birkenstocks.
