The Bureau of Dealer Services, a DMV office, requires significant planning for a visit. Wait times are consistently long, often around two hours even with an appointment. The process involves multiple lines: a check-in line outside, another line inside to get a number, waiting to be called, and a final line to pay. For walk-ins, they only accept the first 50 general walk-ins and the first 10 drivers exam walk-ins, necessitating very early arrival—sometimes by 4 AM. Staff experiences vary. Some employees are noted as professional, smooth, kind, awesome, encouraging, fair, and straightforward. They help speed up the process when documents are ready. However, other staff members receive less favorable mention. The overall recommendation is to plan for at least a two-hour wait and ensure all required documents are prepared.

If u are a walkin … you will not get in unless u arrive at 12-1am, they only allow 50 walk ins a day. They hand the tickets out first and close walk ins by 8am… 3,4,5am won’t work, only 12-1am. It is ridiculous you guys need to do better and stop being lazy with your work
