“Dollar General has updated their stores. They also have cute decorative rugs, picture frames with cute saying on them. Cute simple. Personally I would rather shop here then Walmart. But just like anywhere else you have to compare and watch how much you spend. lake Washington store has huge cold and freezer section isle are set up to where u find what u need.”
“Weekend Evening Staff is great but the store policy is quite insulting. I was told to put my backpack at the counter? Do you tell people to put their purses at the counter.? Do you think people need a backpack to steal? Not sure what your reasoning is but I can't trust a business that doesn't trust its customers.”
“Just pick up certain items at DG a couple times a month. Some items have a better price than Walmart, but most are higher.
Use the coupons and shop on Saturdays. Saturday coupon is 5 dollars off if you buy 25.00.
Don't forget to check the size of the item. Price may be .50 cents less, but item may be 4 ounces less.
DG used to cost less than Walmart, but now DG has changed the size of packaging.”
“Placed an online order and it took a bit longer (than Amazon) to arrive... but it was way cheaper. The best part of this purchase was chatting with Laura (who was stocking) while someone else got my package from the back.

“This is the best Family Dollar store in Melbourne, FL. The employees are exceptionally customer focused, friendly and helpful. Every time I'm in this store and can't find something, the employees cheerfully walk me to the place to find what I'm looking for. Other stores I shop at employees are far from friendly and just tell you what isle to go to. Shopping at this Family Dollar is always a great experience because of the helpfulness of every employee. I've found items in this store you can buy for $1 that are sold at other stores five times the price. Family Dollar generic cold, allergy and medical supplies are as good as name brands. You can't beat the prices found at Family Dollar on most items. And most products I buy are available most of the time when shopping. I've been to other dollar stores and none of them are nearly close to the great shopping experience at this Family Dollar. The employees make this store the best shopping experience every time I shop. I love this store!”
“I LOVE this store. It's my neighborhood goto for most things. The employees are great and they keep their shelves stocked. The store is clean and the neighborhood riff-raff don't post up and loiter outside to Ogle the goods you just purchased.

“I was at this location this evening this store is clean well stocked and employees are so helpful and kindIt hurt my heart tonight to see a belligerent mean spirited woman yelling at an employee because of something he explained why there was a problem and she wanted him to notify his Mgr and he said he would in a nice calm professional manner. She just continued to berate him and yell so entire store could hear her. I am not sorry I stepped in and told her that it is not a personal problem but a store problem and she did not have to treat him that way. She kept going at till I told her you just want to fight then there no rationalizing with her.She kept yelling. Life is too short for this my friends just because your miserable you should not take this out on people just trying to do there job. It sickens me. This woman with her Christian music playing in her car while she just disrespected this gentleman it is shameful what people go thru in this day age! I really like this store and hope more people would go and enjoy the cleanliness and maybe compliment the people that are trying to make it a nice place to shop.Thank you for all you doKeep your chin up because real people will respect you those miserable people say a prayer for them God will heap Cole’s of fire upon their heads because at the end of the day you conducted yourself more Christian like then the very people who advertise it but ain’t got it.”

“Need to work on the panhandling outside your front doors.Besides that Jimmy and his staff are doing a great job keeping the doors open.I get my toilet paper there and paper towels laundry detergent in any essential items I need”
“Keaton and Spencer are the BEST. Every time I come in they greet me with a smile. I work up the street and this is my go to location. I have never felt more welcomed in a dollar general then I do when I come to this store. 99 percent of the time I go to this location they are usually working and it doesnt matter what time of day, that's dedication especially since I know working in retail it is hard to find good help. Bravo to selecting such nice and helpful people to run this store. Additionally, my employees enjoy going to this location as well if I ask them to make a run to the store for cleaning supplies or the crazy amount of candy we purchased during the holidays.”

“This location is always, always clean and tidy and very well stocked. They don't always have what I'm looking for but 9 times outta 10 they do. Staff is friendly on a wide range, but even when they're minimally friendly it's still way more friendly than the Eau Gallie location. That store is always so empty, or leaking/smells.”
