“I've been meaning to leave this review site November, but the holidays got in the way. Their freight manager Joanne is amazing and deserves recognition for her outstanding customer service. I was looking everywhere for the Dollar Tree Plus 4 ft christmas trees for $5, I called and visited every location in a 20 mile radius. When I spoke with Joanne she told me that she was expecting another shipment in a few weeks, she got my name and number and said she'd call when they came in. I honestly didn't expect to hear from her again, but to my surprise about a week later she called, informed they had gotten them in stock and bc she wasn't sure what color I wanted she had sat 1 of each of the 4 colors of trees aside with my name on them! I was SO thankful and really really appreciated that she followed thru on what she said when I initially called”

“When I am on the road, it's nice to count on a name that you know and trust. That is the case with Dollar Tree stores. I stopped at this one in Melbourne to get some bandages since I had a small cut that needed to be taken care of. Their selection of health and beauty aid products was good. The store was well stocked and as always, their greeting card and party section had plenty of things to choose from. For $1.25, I knew I could find something inexpensive and of quality at Dollar Tree. The entire store was nicely setup.”

“This is a great location for a convenience store. They are attentive and very pleasant to talk to if you have any questions about something you might want to buy. There are many refreshments and snacks, including chips and cold items, low-cost coolers or beer that's chilled. They have home cleaning supplies and personal hygiene products that are always available, including many shampoo choices. They have family care, condoms, otc medicine, firewood, bags of ice. This is a really nice, ample sized store and everything is easy to see for the customers.”

“A nice store, for what it is! Very full and very well lit inside. The store is clean. The staff on the floor are alert and they care to help you. A great experience and it's an added boost to the day when you come in to a store and they treat you well. Plenty of fresh candy for stocking up to give to trick -or-treaters .... They have cold drinks including energy drinks and beer.”

“Although I don't understand how dollar general ended up on a residential street in Palm bay, I stopped there today to make an exchange for my daughter.The cashier, Wil, was great: pleasant, knowledge and just really nice.The store is new therefore neat, clean, and full of stuff.But how many dollar generals does Palm Bay need?Update. 1/22. Apparently palm Bay needs lots of dollar generals. There seems to be one every five miles now. Today the shelves were somewhat bare. The cashier was very nice. Somehow DG gets good employees.”

Home items, cleaning supplies, body care, otc medicine, cold beer (low end) or wine (low end). They have candles, candy, makeup, small toys, craft supplies. “Dollar General is a good place to go if you don't want to go if you don't feel like going into a large grocery store to pick up basic supplies. They offer low prices too. My only complaint is that it only keeps a limited amount of the flavor Gatorade Zero I drink, while other flavors are in abundance. If you see that a particular flavor is constantly out or only a few on the shelf, you would think they would place a larger order to meet customers needs.”

“I was at this location this evening this store is clean well stocked and employees are so helpful and kindIt hurt my heart tonight to see a belligerent mean spirited woman yelling at an employee because of something he explained why there was a problem and she wanted him to notify his Mgr and he said he would in a nice calm professional manner. She just continued to berate him and yell so entire store could hear her. I am not sorry I stepped in and told her that it is not a personal problem but a store problem and she did not have to treat him that way. She kept going at till I told her you just want to fight then there no rationalizing with her.She kept yelling. Life is too short for this my friends just because your miserable you should not take this out on people just trying to do there job. It sickens me. This woman with her Christian music playing in her car while she just disrespected this gentleman it is shameful what people go thru in this day age! “This is the best Family Dollar store in Melbourne, FL. The employees are exceptionally customer focused, friendly and helpful. Every time I'm in this store and can't find something, the employees cheerfully walk me to the place to find what I'm looking for. Other stores I shop at employees are far from friendly and just tell you what isle to go to. Shopping at this Family Dollar is always a great experience because of the helpfulness of every employee. I've found items in this store you can buy for $1 that are sold at other stores five times the price. Family Dollar generic cold, allergy and medical supplies are as good as name brands. You can't beat the prices found at Family Dollar on most items. And most products I buy are available most of the time when shopping. I've been to other dollar stores and none of them are nearly close to the great shopping experience at this Family Dollar. The employees make this store the best shopping experience every time I shop. I love this store!”
