Merritt Square Mall, the heart of Merritt Island, has been a beloved destination for the community for decades. Once a vibrant and bustling shopping center, the mall has faced neglect in recent years, with many stores having left the premises. However, despite the changes, loyal customers still find themselves drawn to the familiar sights and memories the mall holds. From watching classic films at the cinema to grabbing a bite at iconic eateries like Sbarro's and Cinnabon, the mall has been a gathering place for generations. While the mall may not be as lively as it once was, it still holds a special place in the hearts of the locals, who cherish the nostalgia and potential it possesses. With the right care and attention, Merritt Square Mall could once again become a thriving hub of activity and community on the island.
Its ok like most actual malls not many stores booming with sales just enough to walk around for a while. I really hope they get some more businesses soon. Even the food court was blah.

The mall is in rough shape. The parking lot has issues. The A/C has issues at times. There are quite a few empty shops which is a bummer. However, there are still some good shops, a movie theater and an excellent Mexican restaurant here that are worth visiting and supporting.
