“This hardware store is a gem.

A little more than a year ago I purchased an art deco period house in Miami Beach and began a major year+ renovation project. I spent endless hours looking for what I needed at an Ace Hardware store in South Beach, or driving an additional hour round trip to go to a Home Depot in other parts of greater Miami, until I found Central Hardware.

Central Hardware soon became my go-to one-stop hardware store. The team there is knowledgeable and helpful, and while the store does not look particularly large from the street, it is well stocked with floors full of hardware goods, a complete paint department, and a wide-ranging inventory that a shopper might not expect in a neighborhood hardware store. There is also a large public parking lot right out the back door, which is the best way to enter and exit the store. I have done a few spot-checks on items to compare them with a couple of other stores, and found Central Hardware's pricing to be very competitive.

For overall selection, assistance, pricing, convenient location in the middle of Miami Beach, ease of parking, and the neighborhood feel of the store, Central Hardware has become my preferred local source for most of my supplies and tools.”

“The staff were helpful when we were returning a quasi-defaulted garlic shaver. We bought garlic from Wholefoods. It was organic and over juicy hence didn’t work with the shaver. The WS staff in store immediately brought out normal garlic for us to shave so the shaver worked beautifully with thin pieces, as it promoted, and we were happy that we didn’t return the item in the end.
