“New fan! My husband took my car here because we had a baby & couldn’t make it to my regular mechanic, who is only open on weekdays. We had to find a place open on Saturday. After going to 2 horrible places - one that said nothing was wrong & one that was going to WAY overcharge us - we found this place.I’m switching mechanics! “Purchased a tire during their Black Friday deals, was lucky enough to pay for it online and reserve the purchase the day before Thanksgiving… however when I arrived that day at 4p (Wednesday ) I was told they were closing up that I can return any other day,, any time and I just need the barcode for purchase. Since I have had tires installed at another Walmart location I did ask if a reservation was needed , I was told NO that all I needed was proof of my tire purchase for that location. Unfortunately that was not accurate information as when I arrived on a Saturday at 1:15p I was immediately told no that a reservation to install the one tire I had purchased was needed and they advised me that technicians called out out as well. Needless to say I was disappointed being it was my second attempt to have the tire I paid for installed. I spoke to the service manager Reniel and he was kind and empathetic that given this being the second time I show up and the urgency of needing it for my work commute he advised me that he would install the tire for me himself. As I know not all customer service issues are able to be resolved depending on the nature of the problem and circumstances like call outs occur, myself being a manager as well, I truly appreciate seeing the manager of the department Reniel step up to resolve the problem himself , as that is what all leaders should strive to achieve- ensuring to the best of their ability and capacity that myself, their customer left happy and alleviated the stress that would have occurred if he had not stepped in. I hope that the GM of this Walmart location is aware that they have a manager (Reniel) that is devoted to customer satisfaction in your Auto Service Department . Thank you !!”
