“Absolutely loved this museum. The exhibits were beautifully curated, informative, and surprisingly immersive. You can tell a lot of care went into both the presentation and preservation of the pieces. I ended up spending way more time here than expected because every section had something interesting to discover. The staff were also friendly and knowledgeable. Definitely worth visiting if you appreciate history, art, or just a well-designed experience.”

“I recently reached out to Pelican Harbor Seabird Station after discovering a poor baby seagull trapped in the sea by the storm wall. The little one was in distress, and I could not reach it due to the height of the wall. I spoke with Valerie, who was incredibly supportive and was doing everything in her power to send someone out to help.
After several hours, a wonderful volunteer went to the scene to assist, but unfortunately, it was too late to save the bird. Despite the outcome, I am grateful for the dedication and swift action from Valerie and the volunteer. Pelican Harbor Seabird Station is a remarkable wildlife rescue and rehabilitation center in Miami, Florida. They provide essential services like emergency intake, rehabilitation, and public education through tours and volunteer programs.
I encourage everyone to support this vital organization. They need more volunteers and any help to continue their important work for injured native seabirds and urban wildlife. Thank you, Valerie, and to the volunteer for your efforts!”

“We found Adoption by Shepherd Care by chance, and had a zoom call with them a few days later. I found it very challenging to find an ethical, real agency in the sea of false advertisements out there. The world of adoption is scary and I had read so many horror stories of different scenarios, and we didn’t want to be another statistic like that. After the meeting we really liked them and decided to start our process with them. The adoption process is stressful, time consuming and frustrating, all emotions I shared more than once with them. And they took it all in stride, because years and years of experience under their belt helped them handle someone like me. Cause I’m not the easiest to handle sometimes. And I’m sure they will vouch that I am a talker and I am not afraid to share my true feelings. About a year and a half in, my husband and I started to feel very defeated. Then in October, I’m getting off the elevator heading back into my office and they ask to 3 way call with my husband, and for some reason I was obvious as to why. And it was THE CALL. We welcomed our son home in December and we finalize In June. Anmarie helped us in the beginning of the process with our paperwork, background checks, interviews, home visits, etc. Wonderful and personable and easy to talk to, always talked me down. Special thanks to Nidia too. Bayleigh in the Orlando area office helped us in person with our birth family who was in that area. She met us at lunch with them, walked us through everything, and when it came to baby time kept us updated as I was crying and stayed with our sweet mom until we drove 6+hrs to be with her. This is a great group of people who really care about this process. Could not recommend more!”

“Wonderful smoke free environment. Great location and fair prices on drinks. The BIG reason to come is for the local musicians currently jamming together every Tuesday night at 7:30. It will be crowded because, the talent is very special. Most everyone knows they’re listening to exceptional performers and it’s not necessarily something someone would normally just stumble upon. “I read everyones reviews and even answered the question yes i did go to abe and asked for a car I recieved a silver s63 which when i recieved it i loved it. granted it does take a while cause 3-6 weeks is a long time but we all sign a paper that says four to six weeks we also sign a paper that says he charges $150 if you decide to cancel im happy with my car”

“The place is a warehouse. It isn't an air conditioned one, expect some sweating in hot months as the place swelters. The supplies part is massive, they keep small stores stocked to the gills.The prices are good and they give discounts for botanical owners, which is always good for those who buy in bulk.They are vertically integrated, most products made for them in Dominican Republic.For practitioners, this is the go to place, they also deal with general public.The parking is a nightmare, maybe 8 spots right off 74th Ave. Staff is friendly and helpful. Non Spanish speakers will have a rough time.”
“Today was my first time ever donating blood’. The staff was very friendly, and made this decision a permanent customer. Very knowledgeable and helpful, no pain, gave me a free umbrella and 20$ gift card. The thing that stood out the most was HOW CLEAN this place was! I thought it was a brand new place, but apparently it’s been there awhile. Bathroom, floors, everything was so clean, whoever cleans that place deserves a raise! Overall i had a great experience and definitely coming back to donate again. Im glad i could help potentially save a life.”
“I am an artist who participated this last Basel weekend 2022 in the Miami Dade county Artz305 show at the Homestead Speedway. I give an A++ for organization, layout and content of the event. Curator Bart Mervil and Artist coordinator Melissa Martinez did a great job and valued the artists and their work. Commissioner Kionne McGhee needs to be commended for choosing Homestead for the event. Homestead doesn't have a single art gallery and it gave many Homestead artists a platform to share their art. I would suggest a Bus to transport people to the event from areas of FL. City and Homestead.. I would also suggest more targeted Advertising to make the many new residents aware of the event. Overall A++.”
