Moved into a condo within the past year-- asked the bldg maintenance to renew my entrance door (which was tired, and then I created a "patch" (scar) with an I VOTED sticker that removed varnish). Maintenance sent a worker, no fee (but I gave a tip)...and long story short, I ended up with dark varnish on my newly installed (light color) laminated flooring. Up one, back two? I went to this (my go-to hardware-- because it's small, familiar --vs HD); I had Mineral Spirits in mind. But then? thought to ask the three guys chatting behind the paint counter. They? (too) had reservations about abrasives; and GOOGLED (what I had NOT thought to do): suggestion: vinegar and/or rubbing alcohol. Knew I had vinegar, but purchased isopropyl alcohol at the Walgreens next door.
Tried the vinegar--minimum improvement, but still remarkable stain. Tried the rubbing alcohol-- 100%/instant(!) removal of stain, with NO damage to the flooring. THANK YOU!, guys!! (hopefully you know? WHO you are). Will "repay" you with future business. xoxo

👎👎Terrible 🦨🦨 AVOID ❌ this store. Go to a different & real ACE Hardware Store on South Dixie Highway. The employees & managers pride themselves in saying they are not a real ACE Hardware Store. They do not follow ACE Corporate rules, standards, policies, prices, warranties or guarantees that ACE Hardware has as a corporation on their products.
Prices are very expensive. No customer service. Employees are extremely rude & disrespectful to all customers. I witnessed the manager & an employee verbally disrespect an older female customer. When she left the store they continue to disrespect her & talk about how ignorant she was with regards to paint & the tools needed for the project.
Store does not honor coupons & warranties on products. They change policies every day depending on the level of training or the attitude of the employee or manager.
One of the managers constantly screams at employees & insults & mistreats them. He has been doing this for years. He screams from one side of the store to another in front of customers. They are apathetic & do not care about customers.
This store is ruining the ACE Hardware brand & good name. It is a terrible experience in every way. Sad to see an excellent historical American brand be destroyed by a bad store.

It is a place where you will find all the items required for the home. From cleaning products; hardware; tools and even industrial. Very good guide from the people who serve.

The store workers have a very bad attitude and do not want to work or look for the product that the customer needs. It is incredible that they work like this and are not fired.

After being a loyal customer for 3 years, on 11/5/24 my experience with this store changed for the worst. I went to this store with an electrical question and by the time I left I was belittled, laughed at, and insulted (i.e., given the middle finger). I wrote an email to the store manager and I’m still waiting for a reply. Very disheartening and disappointing.

Has just about everything you need without the headaches of bigger box stores. Staff was friendly and valued my time, got help when I needed it. Found what I was looking for right away and got back to my project.

Excellent shop on Bird Road and 57th Avenue.
Employees answered every one of my questions and offered useful tips.
Parking lot with plenty of free parking.

I went to the store with the photo of a faucet part my handyman asked me to buy. 3 men on staff were at the front they said they didnt know what that piece was. None of them made the slightest effort to go to the plumbing area with me to see if something like that or similar was available. None offered any help. The manager was extremely rude.

I came all the way from Homestead and the store is closed. They close Sunday at 6pm and online it shows until 8pm. Thank you for wasting my time

Great place for all my hardware needs every item I’ve needed has been available in stock. If not, they make sure they do good business and go above and beyond for my needs thank you also extremely organized clean and amazing customer service ❤️💯💯
