Horrible area. Reserved room was not given to me. No consideration for being a points member. Dirty room. Dangerous slippery shower. Loud blaring music in lobby. Never again. I'll remain at home through hurricanes and tornadoes if this was my only choice.

The bathroom in the room was not clean, too much mold in the bathroom. I asked to clean it and they did nothing.

The hotel is in a great location for its price. Not right in the heart of Brickell, but just a two-minute walk away. The staff is very friendly, and there’s a small gym that works fine for staying active for a couple of days. It also has a 24-hour convenience store, which is a nice touch. The room is good for a weekend stay, and you have everything you need. The only downside was the bed, which had a dip in the middle, making it uncomfortable to sleep.

I enjoyed my stay at Aloft Miami. The staff are very friendly and helpful and the location is close to everything. The vibe at the hotel is casual, hip and fun. There is a happy hour every night and there is a violinist that performs.
The rooms are wonderful, especially if you get one with a balcony. If you need to work, the rooms have a nice work space. There are also spaces downstairs to work as well.
If you are looking for a casual, laid back, fun place to stay, I would recommend.

The neighborhood is great but there was no breakfast available when I stayed there.

I always host my family when they come to see me in Miami because it is several blocks from my apartment on Brickell Ave, this month of August was a disappointment. In the lobby there was a very shabby exhibition of paintings that I looked at while my cousins came down from their bedroom and I talked to the artist's Argentine manager. They are dedicated to selling counterfeit Louis Vuitton bags. I have already informed the French firm of these illegal activities.

This is a very nice hotel at a great price with great service.
It is conveniently located in the Brickell district of downtown Miami.
When I got checked in, I got upgraded to a corner suite with a wraparound balcony.
The room was very nice, the bed was comfortable and the view from the balcony was great.
Rooms: The room is very nice, and the one I got upgraded to has a wraparound balcony that wraps around the corner since this is a corner unit.
Nearby activities: Lots of nearby activities since it's in the middle of downtown
Safety: This is in a good part of town.
Walkability: Very walkable. It is in the middle of the downtown Brickell area and there's lots of things within walking distance.
Food and drinks: The bar has a small selection of food but the food is good.
Noteworthy details: It is located about a block from the train station for the Metro mover and a large Transit Center.

DONT LISTEN TO THE REVIEWS. This is the worst hotel in Brickell!! Aside from the horrendous quality of the hotel & rooms, I was charged an additional $40 for parking when I did not have a vehicle there on site.
DO NOT PLAY YOURSELF

I stayed in this hotel a year ago, and within the year the parking price is doubled, and the breakfast has been removed even if you are a gold member or higher. The young general manager stated with a smerk grin, we doing this for compliance and for our customers. Why did you find this guy? Somebody might want to give him some education you don't tell a customer we taking your money for your own good. This is a perfect example of greed and not caring about the Costco croissant can you tell the customer is for your own good. This hotel represents Marriott in the worst way.

When I got to the hotel I left my wife and kids to check in and for some reason the front desk attendant gave some random guy our keys who didn't help with any of her luggage and just watched her and my kids struggle. He then proceeded to open the room door and go in and then asked my wife to come in with him. Highly unprofessional behaviour for a hotel there is never a need to go into a paying customer room without being invited, shame on the front desk clerk for giving this random person our key to our room. He is lucky I wasn't able to get his name because he didn't have a name tag on
