This preschool is truly excellent. Like many parents, I felt nervous and emotional about dropping my toddler off at school for the first time, but the moment I walked into the J, I knew this was the right place for our family. The facility is clean, welcoming, and incredibly well run. The director knows every single child and family, which makes the experience feel so personal and reassuring. The teachers are wonderful, caring, and attentive. Our family has been part of this preschool for three years now with two children, and I cannot recommend it enough.

The Alper JCC has become a second home to my daughter and our family. The daycare is an incredible program with teachers and administrators who care deeply. It’s so much more than a daycare, their curriculum are intentional, creative snd age appropriate for growth and learning. And the community is so wonderful and supportive. So happy we found them!

BEWARE: Do Not Join The Women’s Tennis Team!!
First, I dropped my ranking from a 3.0 to a 2.5 to join this team. The day of my second (2hr) practice, which I was not in the line up for the upcoming match, I informed the group, I was going to be late. I had an emergency dental appt. due to my jaw being dislocated and was given muscle relaxers and heavy pain meds due to the dentist attempting to manually adjust my jaw. I really didn’t want to go to practice, but being new, I didn’t know what to do. I ended up being 20 mins late and as I arrived to the JCC the front desk printed out my membership card.
Upon walking over to the courts this lady that I don’t know (VIRGINIA) walked off the court saying (I’m going to say something and it’s not going to be nice), she came over to me and said “practice is at 7:30, not 7:40 or 7:50, learn to have respect for your team”.
I approached her and told her to never speak to me like that again. I told her she was very rude and I wrote to the group to say I was going to be late (which she is part of). I told her about my emergency situation and that I didn’t even want to be there, but out of respect for the team, I came anyways while in pain. I told her I got stopped in the way in to get a membership card printed (which took a min).
The following week a chat was sent out about signing up for practice and she added a note indirectly insulting me again about being late. I responded to her reiterating my situation last week and told her to have compassion for others. She deleted my message and removed me from the practice chat group and told my team captain that she is not putting me back on and I can’t come to “her” practice.
I reported it to the JCC. The woman in the office. I tried to discuss this with the Director of Tennis, but he wouldn’t come off the court to speak to me for not even a minute. JCC should not allow a BULLY control the Women’s Tennis that is under their JCC organization.

I love this gym. So down-to-earth. People actually talk to each other. It's wonderful. I'm 27. It seems a majority of the attendees are middle-aged or elderly. They are such good people to share a gym with. So polite and friendly.
People actually clean the racks here.
Equipment is actually easy to access. Everything is clean.
Don't come here because I don't want crowds! Lol!

My kids have had a such a great experience at Camp J. Their summer was filled with super dynamic activities that kept them entertained and looking forward to going to camp every single day. As a parent, I cannot recommend this camp enough! They are beyond organized, communicative, transparent, inclusive and welcoming. I was very impressed by the level of security on campus and felt incredibly safe dropping my kids off every day. There’s no doubt this is the best camp in the area.
