I received an exclusive offer in the mail to upgrade my internet to 1 gigabit speed which is 2x times faster for what I’m paying for right now. So, I went to my local AT&T store on November 20th because the offer clearly states that you can visit the retail store for help. Unfortunately, didn't have mail with me and the associate couldn’t find anything under my account.
Went back the next day with the exclusive offer in hand. The associate took it to the manager and I was told they couldn’t help me. I was told to call 800 number because they don’t have that price in their system. I don't understand what is the difference between AT&T store computer system and the person who I'm going to call overseas their computer system. I was under the impression everyone looking at the same information online.
It seems to me if they cannot sell you a new product or sign you up for a new account they won’t even try helping you. Taking the easy way out is much more convenient. Poor Customer Service.
