I was very skeptical to use Avis at 1st because of their bad reviews, but i decided to roll the dice. My experience was ok, I booked a Tesla in advanced, with the understanding that I would either get it or a similar Electric vehicle. I wasn't surprised that they didn't have it or any EV's at all 🤔. Then they started to give me a Volvo SUV, but stopped and finally gave me a Jeep Grand Cherokee. It was new and clean, no issues. The Return was easy. Now waiting to get my deposit back.
They are located in the lobby of the Marriot Hotel to the right, it's a small desk/counter.

Informed the tank was full but was not. Attended said to take picture, but when returned, there was nothing they could do.
Returned with the same level, and they charged me 170$.

Truck was filthy when picked up and about 7/8 tank of fuel
I returned on FULL and got charge $46 for fuel. 75-80% of the time Avis charges for fuel even tho vehicles are returned FULL.
I wonder how many renters don’t notice or don’t take the time to call and get a credit. Seems intentional on AVIS part at this point in history

This Avis company charged me $450 for a smoke smell that was already in the car and noted with the rental office I got the car from. I even got in the phone with the customer care people and explained the situation and was told that they would not charge me for someone else’s doing. I spoke with them July 28th and ALEX G specifically stated he took care of the issue. Then they waited until August 8th to post the charge as if I would not notice. Absolutely garbage company. I will fight this until I am given my money back.

VERY RUD, WAITED FOR A LONG TIME, EVEN THE HOTEL MANAGER WAS LOOKING FOR THE PERSON AT THE DESK.
THEY DIDNT HAVE MY CAR, WAS TOLD TO TAKE A MUSTANG, I HAD MY FAMILY WITH ME AND MY NEW BORN SON, WE DO NOT FIT IN A MUSTANG
HAD TO GO SOMEWHERE ELSE

They dont ever answer the phone. The system will let you make a reservation at closing time but they leave early so don't do reservations near closing time and don't be late. Customer service at the corporate level won't help you either. I'm left without a car because of their failures.

Hit me with a toll fee a week after I turned the car in when I know for a fact I didn't go on any toll roads the a service tep was more into trying to rip.me off then to show common courtesy

They gave me the car all dirty, all marked, when I complain they tell me that's how it is. It took more than 1 hour for delivery. When I delivered it 10 minutes later (they had it delivered to me on the 6th floor) which also made me waste time, they charged me an extra full day. I DO NOT RECOMMEND THEM

They are simply thieves
Without your consent, you are given options that are impossible to refuse because the employee's speech is ambiguous and incomprehensible.
In short we got scammed of more than 400 dollars
The vehicle is not ready, not very clean
To avoid ABSOLUTELY they are thieves

2/5 for extremely long check in time. Counter is located on first floor next to the market.
I was the only one there and it still took nearly 45 minutes to check in. Problems with the computer, ID scanner, and printer
