Banfield Midtown always exceeds my expectations! I can't speak highly enough about all the doctors there, but I must give special recognition to Dr. Joy. He provided exceptional care and expertise when treating my dog for lepto and kidney disease. Thanks to his dedication and skill my baby is now a lot healthier. I am incredibly grateful for all the staff here

I had my appointment for 10am and I waited until 3pm for my dog to be delivered ? 5 hours for the vet to check him. My dog is a husky, there are too many hours locked up there, I can't describe the anxiety I had when I received him. They should have more staff for pet service.

Today I was very disappointed. The customer service in this place is the worse. My dog was vomiting for a medication that she was prescribed and I asked to talk to a vet. The customer service told me that doctor Quiñones was going to give me a call by the end of the day which he did not. This is not the first time this has happened but it got me so mad when I got the same insurance for my second pet which I am about to cancel it for lack of service. This place is like a market that does not follow up with the service. Very unprofessional even when they have to check you in.

I recently visited Banfield Vet Hospital with my 5-month-old kitten, hoping to address her discomfort and ear issues. While I initially appreciated the promptness of a same-day appointment, my overall experience left me deeply dissatisfied. Dr. Taylor and his team seemed to lack clear communication regarding the recommended procedures and associated costs. Despite expressing concerns about my kitten's symptoms, the treatment plan suddenly changed after I declined pet insurance, resulting in unexpected additional charges. This lack of transparency, coupled with the persistence of my kitten's issues after spending a significant amount, led me to the decision that I will no longer be seeking care from Banfield Vet Hospital.Additionally, I opted not to sign up for the wellness plan offered by Banfield Vet Hospital, as I prefer to commit after a few visits to ensure the quality of service before recommending it to others. As a responsible pet owner, I believe in thoroughly evaluating a veterinary service before making a long-term commitment. Unfortunately, my experience with Banfield Vet Hospital fell short of expectations in terms of both communication and service quality. I hope this feedback serves as an opportunity for Dr. Taylor and his team to improve their communication and service standards for the benefit of future clients and their beloved pets.BTW, my kitten was not healed nor felt better after the visit.

Dr Taylor the worst veterinarian I ever met. Absolutely disgusting behavior by a doctor. I was at the hospital to get the international travel certificates for my 3 cats. I spent almost $1000.The day of the appointment he stayed 3 hours with my 3 cats.He had declared them all black cats on the certificate and that is not true they are 3 different colors. In addition he wrote incorrect information on the certificate. The result of the unprofessional job of Dr. Taylor caused me that I missed my flight and I suffered huge extra costs and a lot of stress. He never recognized all his mistakes. I have the proof of all the mistakes he did.The manager is unprofessional as well justified him and she told me that mistakes can happen.DO NOT TRUST on him.I am also surprised that even if Dr. Taylor has bad reviews Banfield Hospital let him work. This is unprofessional as well.

10/23/23Service is very good. But the store needs some serious cleaning!11/14/23 I'm here afortunadamente a month-to-month of the first review and store looks even worse. I spoke to the banfield crew, and they said it is pet smart that doesn't take care of that.

This was a very new experience. Staff were few inside the store but the store was very well stocked, free of clutter and easy to find what I was looking for. Checkout was relatively quick and easy.I love that they have a groomer and vet on site. Grooming is inexpensive and the ladies appear to love their jobs. They look so happy grooming the pets. They also ask lots of questions of your preferences and the pets likes. Overall I will be back.

My dog has been an ear infection for a few weeks. I have been to Banfield maybe 4 times for the same problem. Unfortunately he didn’t let me touch his ear so despite buying all meds and calming pills nothing worked. So I brought him for the 4 th time to let the vet do it, he had to go through sedation :/At the end of the appointment the invoice was +$100 ( not initially supposed to be) it happened that the ear infection got worst than the week before. We also had to wait a full week to have an appointment available for sedation … so not that surprising! As I came plenty of times for the same problem, as I also did for allergy ( I am a really good customer ?) I asked to talked with the manager to know if it would be possible to waive a single fee or to have a payment plan. She called me and didn’t want to know anything. She just said “ THE BILL WILL STAY THE SAME” she didn’t want to know anything and she was mean. Not a sorry, nothing.God bless I can pay otherwise my dog would stay in pain or die even if I already spent a lot of money, thousands in just a few months. I won’t renew my plan there.

Don’t get the wellness plan!! Because you prepay they will make you wait 4-7 hours even when you have an apt! some people had been there for 8 hours! The 1.5 stars they have on Yelp make a lot of sense now. I don’t recommend this location to anyone. I took my dog for her scheduled appointment for rabies vaccine they told me it was an hour at the most and that they have to keep her in the back which is very weird usually I go in with my dog and see the doctor. Anyways, 5 hours later they still haven’t called me so I went to see what’s going on they wouldn’t let me see her and insisted on keeping her in the cage. At this point I wanted my dog back so after a lot of back and forth they gave her to me; she was so dehydrated her eyes looked like she was about to pass out from being in a cage without water for 5 hours probably panicking. i am taking her to the er as I’m typing this. Big thanks to Jenn the office manager for causing all day and yelling at us if you see the lady in the picture just run she’s is a horribleHuman and should not be allowedTo be around pets. Banfield needs bro be held accountable for their employees actions the way she was acting I wouldn’t trust her with my dog. I had an apt at 1 pm and this happened close to 5 pm. She was yelling at me saying normal wait time is 4-6 hours I waa very confused why is it an appointment then? she was obviously in a bad mood and started yelling and threatened to call the cops when I asked why the delay and why didn’t they give my dog water why do they need to keep a dog in a cage for 5-6 hours none of this makes sense save yourself the heartache and go toVCA or any other pet hospital

If I could put 0 stars I would!Every time I go it is the same treatment. A regular routine not less than 4 hr . This time I had an appointment for ear infection and skin rush that is normally done with a few test and prescribed medication but instead of going in to sit in the room with the doctor like it use to be done I had to drop him off and 4 hr later still not finished. Why making appointment if they are never on time or they want to dog to be dropped off ! I called for an update 3 hr after and was told my dog is being seen now and to wait for the doctor’s call. One more hr passed by and still no call. How is it possible that they schedule appointments at a certain time but always end up doing it later ! Dogs are not walked since they stay inside for so long and my dog runs like crazy to go out every time I take him! The excuse of not having in office appointments bc of COVID is ridiculous! Also if they have an emergency room system they should have a separate doctor there that will deal only with emergencies and not pushing back the appointments that are scheduled! Amazing business with no shame for the customers.

Miami is known for poor customer service, but Banfield Pet in Mid-Town is absolutely the most unprofessional, incompetent and indifferent business I have ever seen. They over charge, make you wait hours, have zero customer service, will not give your pet appropriate care and they accidently Sent a bill to collections because they had the wrong number. Horrible.

3 of 4 visits staff at intake have either ignored those waiting or were rude. Vet tech and Dr's have been great. They listen to your concerns, answer all your questions and genuinely seem to care for their patients.

THESE PEOPLE ONLY WANT TO TAKE YOUR MONEY AND THEY DONT CARE ABOUT YOUR PET AT ALL!!I took my dog in for a urinary track infection, and they suggested to do blood work, urine analysis, urine cultive exam, and x-rays to “see what the problem” for over 900$. After deciding to only do the blood work and the urine analysis first (since they told me they could prescribe the right antibiotic with that information), I bought the first round of medicine they suggested, and after it was done my dog still had the infection. So I went back to do the urine cultive, but they tried to push me ANOTHER urine analysis, even though it was done 2 weeks ago. After doing the cultive, they told me to buy a second round of different meds to try to kill the infection while the results of the cultive came in. A week in into the second meds, the doctor calls me and tells me that they got the results in, and that unfortunately the meds I was actively giving my dog wouldn’t work, so I had to go in and buy a third round of different meds for the same infection. 20 days after giving the meds to my dog, she still has the urinary track infection. It’s been more that 2 months, and even though they have done multiple tests on her, they were never able to get it right with the meds. I spent more than 1,200$ in test and meds (and this was me having they’re pets care plan), to have my dog sick for almost 3 months now. They are the most scammy pet hospital I’ve experienced in my life!! Either that, or they’re doctors are so inadequate and under qualified that after 3 different test, and 3 different rounds of meds, they still couldn’t cure a urinary track infection!!

The worst Banfield experience in over 8 years avoid this one in Midtown. Dr Taylor sounds like he's 15 years old and can't make a cohesive sentence. He speaks over you when you're explaining what previously happened and says he's not the person to speak to and says the more you speak the less time he as to treat the dog. Absolutely disgusting behavior by a doctor. I was explaining how I was paying the most expensive plan how it took them over two weeks to approve a prescription because the doctor was on vacation so no one was looking at the faxes and he kept saying that's not going to resolve anything. Completely indifferent of the hundreds of dollars I had paid literally less than 3 weeks ago to get this resolved which they didn't resolve the problem was only exasperated and now have to pay hundreds of dollars more to fix. AVOID AVOID AVOID THIS BANFIELD LOCATION IF YOU CARE FOR YOUR PET!! Been a member for over 8 years and this is the worse experience. These people just want your money with no care! I can see now why they have the one star rating!
