I see somehow my negative review was removed. This organization has treated us and my dog awful! Most every time I've come here I've waited HOURS and that's exactly what happened yesterday as my dog was wining and crying in pain. Nobody told us what was going on, nobody gave us updates, my dog was never seen by anyone, and it forced me to find another vet the following day. The worst part, is their failure caused my dog to suffer an extra day while we found another vet. In my opinion this place should be avoided at all cost. I have absolutely zero trust in this organization. I placed my trust in them to be there when my dog got sick and they failed. I'm absolutely furious with this organization. To Banfield....you're failing...you need to rethink your strategy.

I’ve been bringing my cat here since I adopted her almost 8 years ago and all the doctors have always been wonderful with her. She’s seen Dr. Estevez in the past and is now seeing Dr. Servito. Everyone is always so nice and patient with my wild beast and I appreciate the care they show her even when she’s hissing and acting dramatic.

Dr. Katerina Louise Kuscevic is THE REASON I keep coming back here. She's the absolute best with my somewhat difficult dog. She has operated on his masses in the past with the best care and continues to support his health with exceptional service and visit support.

My wife and I scheduled appointments for our pets for today at 11am and then we were called to change our appointment time to 3pm because the person on the phone said that they prefer to see cats in the afternoon, while waiting in the room, after an hour, we check up to see what's happening and never received a response The second time we to see what's happening this now we are at the hour and half mark and the front desk lady didn't have an answer, so i return back to the waiting room and my wife and I hear the ladies (through the wall) say those pets are not going to be seen today and I can't wait to close we waited an hour an a half for nothing. I demand that someone from Banfield reach out to myself and wife for this unpleasant and unprofessional experience.

First appointment must have been a fluke. Second visit for an ear infection and they did not adequately treat it. Third time went for another anal gland expression and got a lecture from the kid that they are required to charge an office fee for them and are doing me a favor by not charging it (no vets charge an office fee for anal glands) he did not adequately clear them and I’ll have to pay someone else to do them properly. I scheduled an appointment a week in advance for her shots, and when they didn’t call to confirm, I called them and they don’t have the appointment and he says they may have cancelled it (without sending any notification) he said they are too busy and there is nothing they can do. Now leaving me scrambling to get her vaccine done before a trip. Banfield is not dependable.Good experience. Was impressed with the vet thoroughly cleaning my beagles anal glands and voicing a concern I could have checked out at a later appointment

I’m so thankful for this place. I unfortunately had to take my fur baby in for what seemed to be a lipoma but ended up being a hernia that needed fixing. I’ve never been more nervous about anything ever, because it would require a surgery, and had inherent risks, and I couldn’t imagine living if anything happened to my dog. The staff here is extremely gentle and understanding and genuinely seem to have a love for the animals they treat, where they aren’t just a another customer or number. The nurses and the doctors that helped my fur baby went into detail explaining everything that would be needed for care before and after the procedure. And, when I went back for a follow-up a few days after, because I had some concerns about possible emergency complications (like constipation for several days) they saw me immediately in the morning and sent me home with the medicine necessary to fix that too. I’m so thankful to see my doghter happy, healthy and recovering so well because of the COMPLETE care given here. Looking forward to being back soon to finally remove her stitches.

This was my first time taking Stella to this location and I couldn’t be more pleased. They worked with me and her special circumstances to put her in a room to be seen and made sure she had all the right attention and care she needed. Dr Velasco is incredible, along with her nurses. Thanks for taking care of my baby

July 2023 by Mauribel Garcia
My name is Mauribel Gracia, the mother of Zues, a Dogo Argentino that was only 1 year and 5 months old, who was erroneously diagnosed in Banfield on 2 different occasions. On the first occasion, I was able to save my dogs life because I took him somewhere other than Banfield, where they would actually help him. Several days before us taking Zeus to the Pet Emergency Hospital, Banfield diagnosed him with Pancreatitis and days later his health condition continued deteriorating, which caused us to worry. I had to pay $120 just to even upgrade his Banfield insurance to the more premium version with supposed additional benefits, to not come out of pocket for all the fees Banfield was charging us, and useless medicine they were prescribing. The medicine that was prescribed for Zeus was intended to treat “pancreatitis”, but nothing that was prescribed to him helped with his loss of appetite, did not help with his drinking water, he was getting more and more dehydrated and was becoming even more lethargic, which we found very strange. They even took X-rays and they concluded that it was pancreatitis, not only was it not pancreatitis, but we also ended up spending over $600 in just the medicine that was prescribed alone, which did not help whatsoever. Once we arrived at the Pet Emergency Hospital, they concluded, using an ultrasound, that Zeus did not in fact have pancreatitis, but instead had an intestinal blockage. This blockage required emergency surgery and 2 overnight stays at the emergency hospital for aftercare and monitoring and cost over $5,000 dollars out of pocket, safe to say that the Banfield insurance was not very useful at all, and this was just the first occasion where they falsely diagnosed Zeus with pancreatitis. The second occasion where he was taken to Banfield, he got his vaccinations, once his exams were done, they mentioned that he was fine with no issues but an ear infection. The next day he got very sick after that and had a very high fever, he didn’t eat for 3 days and called the hospital again 3 days after. They also mentioned not eating after the vaccines was normal but to bring him in anyways. We brought him and once the doctor checked Zeus, they said he was sick which was obvious, they offered 2 options, pay nearly $1,000 for X-rays, or treat the dog as if he had pancreatitis which we did, but he then passed away. The records do indicate that he was diagnosed with pancreatitis, and we took him home with the medicine that was prescribed. He was still not eating, was severely dehydrated and had all the same symptoms as the previous time and unfortunately passed away. The medicine they prescribed Zeus was not to assist with the pancreatitis, and he passed from a pulmonary infection and lung congestion from one of the vaccines that were administered. We pay for the monthly insurance, the highest level, but they didn’t even bother to give him a sort of electrolyte treatment, and they also did not conduct a pancreas check to verify if he had pancreatitis, knowing that they diagnosed him with the same sickness as last time (I made it clear to the doctor that Banfield's primary diagnosis of pancreatitis had been wrong, and I explained what the first part of this paragraph says, to him, and the answer I got was "if the system says that he had pancreatitis, it means that he had it"), nor did they administer antihistamines with his history of allergies. In addition, Banfield is obligating us to continue paying the insurance even after Zeus’ death which is extremely ridiculous. Out of the 2 times they wrongly diagnosed my dog and ultimately failed to help my dog in the end, I know that this won’t bring my dog back, but there have been many people that have been through the same thing but just stay quiet and not say anything, who knows how many people Banfield has screwed over. If you don’t want your animal to end up as ashes in an urn like my Zeus, please, go anywhere other than Banfield pet hospital.

If I could place 0 stars I will do so. First they told my 1 year old dog that she needed urgent eye surgery in both eyes because she had entropion and can be blind and she have only a conjuntivitis. Then my older dog needed an urgent medication approved by this “vets” and they never approved the medicine no matter how many calls and in person appearances or email we did or send. Our dog died because of the lack of care and his medication for Anemia and 2 days have passed and now Dr. Estevez replied to the email 2/3 months later. After all the mistreatment and awful time Dr. Kusevic make my parents have because they were “exaggerating” I WILL NEVER TAKE ANY OF OUR OTHER PETS HERE IN THEIR LIFE!!! I don’t know where tf they took their vet certification, probably a Kellogg’s box… the vet that took in our dying dog told us that if he was his vet he could have safe his life no problem and give him medication to live longer. He even knew the bad reputation this specific banfield have… what a surprise

The vets at Banfield are always a pleasure to work with. They take care of your pet as if it was their own pet. Definitely recommend going here for any vet needs
