Dr Ortega is amazing !!! You can really tell she loves her job and she loves animals . All the nurses and staff are very nice and always willing to help .

I called this place to have my dog serviced and they told me one price over the phone. When I got to my appointment they told me a different (higher) price than what was mentioned over the phone. Miraculously they did not hear anything in the “recorded call” that mentioned the price that was clearly mentioned to me. Aside from that I was kept waiting 30 minutes in the waiting room for my appointment and I asked them to at least honor the price that was given to me over the phone because of the wait time and they kept arguing with me about it. Once my monthly dues are up I’m canceling this membership and never again using banfield as a service. Employees are liars and doctors don’t even do their jobs right. I’ll make sure to tell anyone who I hear mention “banfield” to not even look in that direction.

DR. ORTEGA is by far the best employee they’ve had in a long time. I’m glad I can finally give this place 5 stars because boy was it struggling before. I’m extremely grateful for her and the ppl she has working under her. Definitely needs a promotion or some sort because she goes above and beyond and very kind! If you have an opportunity to get care from her, then you will most definitely luck out! Asked for a routine health certificate and wasted no time to do what she needed to do in order to get it sent out. Had an issue w approval and wasted no time to notify. Follow up, and take matters into her own hands if need be. QUALITY, service in not only pet care; but the logistics side as well.She needs a raise right now. God bless her and her heart!

If i could rate this place less than 1 star, I would. After reading all the yelp reviews about this place, I literally hung up the phone on the receptionist immediately. Not trying to take my cat to a pet morgue...

never considerate of my time, i always have to wait 30 minutes-1 hour after my appointment time to be seen, it’s ridiculous. they have made multiple false payments and overcharges in which i’ve had to dispute, and they always try to charge for extra things you never even asked for/that your pet doesn’t even need. ALWAYS ASK ABOUT YOUR CHARGES. SEE WHAT YOU ARE BEING CHARGED FOR. the technicians and workers here are extremely rude too and aren’t even mentally there most of the time

Its been a while since I've experienced excellent customer service, but today I had the absolute pleasure of being helped by Sabrina. She was very sweet and helpful. She went out of her way because she genuinely wanted to help me and solve my problem. We need more people like you in this world Sabrina!!!

I keep making appointments with one vet and they keep giving me another. Waiting times are terrible then I called and was late because my cat did it in his box. I would have been 30 minutes late and my pet is pretty sick and they would not see me. This place is run terribly. This is not the Bansfield I know. They have taken care of my other 3 cats and 2 dogs. My granddaughters dogs and 3 cats and my grandsons Frenchie Winston. I cant believe the lack of communication and of empathy.

Love this place and so does my big ol pup.Edit: I love this place as long as Dr. Cruz is the one attending to my dog. Otherwise Dr. Salazar and the staff seem to be afraid of dogs given by the incredible amount of anesthesia she gave my dog yesterday. It’s been over 24 hours since he was admitted and he’s still extremely lethargic barely able to get up and go to the bathroom or eat or drink. We’ve never had this issue before. On top of that we also requested his nails to be trimmed and they did a terrible job of that even though he was already asleep. I don’t know how you fail to do an even half way decent job at nail trimming when the dog is 100% asleep.I’ll stick to other offices unless I’m guaranteed Dr. Cruz is attending to him.

Went in to make sure a cut on my kitty wasn’t infected or anything. Some random doctor comes in telling me there was nothing to worry about but wanted to up charge me $300 worth of antibiotics, one of which was an injection. It was a simple abrasion and this doctor I meet for the first time wanted to inject my pet with some antibiotic I barely understood and clearly he knew that too. I did not take the injection but I did, however, take one of their antibiotic ointment as the vet informed me it would provide a “protective barrier” around the cut. After 4 days of use, I found the spot actually losing due on my kitty and a discoloring abnormal to his regular skin (I stop putting that on him, too). I just needed to point something like that out as I planned on switching to this vet but my first visit was not something I expected. Very shady, wasn’t impressed.
