I had to check this place out coming from abroad. I was really surprised by how inviting this library was, since the neighborhood is unassuming. You can pick a free book, what more can you ask for?
It is situated at the back of a permanent exhibition, so you have to look for it a bit.

Wonderful place! My partner and I are regulars at Bookleggers library. In a city where finding a bookstore is harder than finding water in a desert, Bookleggers is a true gift. The staff is always kind and enthusiastic. Every week you find new books in a welcoming, warm, and friendly environment.

This place was not welcoming at all. As a teacher, I was excited to hear about it but it just seemed like hipster hype. It is super hard to get in and there is no indication that it is a bookstore/library.

What a gem - must visit for all bookworms 📚 If you park out front on the street enter the space through the red building and go all the way to the back.
They have a great collection! The books are free but you can bring along some books to donate, buy some merch, give monetary donations, etc.

This place was so neat. I love visiting used bookstores on our travels and this one did not disappoint. Very unique and what an exciting mission of providing access to books for everyone!
