I want to give a give shout out to Jorge Hidalgo in the loan department. He is truly an example of 5 star customer service. He was professional, efficient, clear, he listened to my concerns, and he took action. I really hope that he is acknowledged for his excellent service.

Beware of this bank. They do not hold their customers interest as priority. If you ever face fraud on your card, get ready to be blamed for it by the fraud department - especially their manager. This by far the worst banking institution I have ever dealt with. BY FAR. They will tell you they have systems in place to prevent fraud or identify it, but they do not. I had to pay off the balance for my card which was all fraudulent charges, but no one at this bank in the fraud department or higher up wanted to help me.The one positive thing I can tell you is that Dimitrio from Collections works harder than anyone in the fraud department at his job and their job. He did his best to help me with my issue, he did the investigation, he identified the problem, he identified the company that committed fraud against my card was a scam agency, etc. DCFCU did one thing right by hiring him.The rest of this bank is a nightmare and I suggest you never open an account with them. Make sure you read all the reviews left under each of their branches. The bank overall is garbage.

TERRIBLE BANK! if I can give negative stars I would! I made a purchase with my card however, the merchants visa machine wasn't working correctly so I had to pay cash, I called the bank right away because I seen that the money was taken out of my account they inform me it should go back into my account in a few days however it didn't and I did a dispute I called the merchant and they indicated that they didn't receive a payment from my card at all when I made the dispute the rep informed me I should receive a provisional credit within 10 days, 10 days came and my credit wasn't in my account I called them back to check the status and their telling me I have to wait 90 DAYSSSS!!! & that since my payment was a dispute not a fraud claim I don't get a credit till the investigation is over! Mind you it was $100 it was $1000 that was taken out! Plus the rep is telling me they need the receipt (I didn't have the receipt because the payment was voided) super upsetting! closing my account forsure!!! Unprofessional, Rude & untrustworthy!

Very disappointed in the customer service from this branch. I regret doing business with them. I understand that it is a place of business but be mindful of the way that you treat customers. Disappointed and frustrated at this branch.

UPDATE: These people if you miss a payment they will transfer you to COLLECTIONS! Like, SERIOUSLY!? Bunch of inconsiderate people who DO NOT give a darn about anyone's financial situation or want to modify a loan! GOOD BYE, DCFCU! Today, Wednesday, July 26, 2023 the ATM in the sanest location will be REMOVED! That means NO OFFICE and now NO ATM, well, take your credit union and SHOVE IT! I will not be going to the hellhole of Downtown Miami just to talk to your UNFRIENDLY so-called 'Customer Service Representatives' who definitely do NOT seem happy to work there! KEEP IT!

My review isn’t Towards any particular branch it’s mostly for the credit union as a whole..first of all the app??? Outdated and weak. The Zelle does NOT work at all..I cannot send money to ANYONE with a zelle account. Second they charge you for transferring from checking to savings account…the reason I opened a savings was so that I could deposit and transfer the money I wanted to save in my SAVINGS. That’s the whole point of a savings account right???? But Dade county will literally charge you for this..what’s the point of saving if you’re going to take the little im trying to save up????? Third. The limit for ATM withdraws is like $400 MAX..any other bank in 2022 it’s at LEAST $600. 4th complaint..I went to pay off my balance half cash half I wanted to pay with a debit card but guess what?? If you’re going to pay with debit it HAS to be a VISA card…if you come with a Mastercard they will not take it…Mastercard is literally excepted everywhere but this bank..no offense but they make it incredibly inconvenient for anyone at this bank..I have chase and Bank of America and they’re way better banks than this institution. My advice to Dade county federal credit union is to get with the program..it’s almost 2023 yet they operate like it’s 2001… I will be closing my account next week and I have a STRONG feeling it’s not going to go smoothly. Every single time it’s something. It’s a shame. The workers are nice and speak English which is nice. That’s the only positive thing I have to say. If anyone is reading this and considering banking here I suggest going to any other bank.

Please be aware that my comment has to do with the bank service as institution and not with any specific branch location.The worst bank ever, I made a check mobile deposit in my checking account ( Friday) and seeing no transaction details I called them on Monday ( 40 minutes waiting) to see what happened then I was informed that I had deposited the checks in my saving account ( a Ghost? ). Anyway, the assistant told me that the money would be available today ( Tuesday) , I checked today and of course nothing yet, called again ( 37 minutes waiting) then I was told that the money would be available by NEXT MONDAY but it had to be checked with the pertinent department and I would receive a call , of course, nobody called me.Called again and I was explained that as I deposited the checks on Friday it would not be until today ( Tuesday) that the bank would determine for how long should the money be on hold ( it could be 7 to 9 days or more) ??. In other words, if getting enrolled with the bank you could have a night mare sooner or later, they function at a very slow way, you can not use your visa card to rent a car, when depositing checks they take forever to make the funds available so PLEASE if you can AVOID them.

What an amazing service this is! We recently where in the market for a new car.Dario Cardentey from the Dade Auto Desk department, helped us immensely! He was very courteous and professional from the get go.And got us a deal we would not get by ourselves alone.He guided us through the process and made it so easy. Its worth mentioning. His understanding of our situation and help! Got us the car we wanted with fair terms… 100% recommended.Thanks for all!

In November 2020, I found myself in need of a new vehicle with initially a limited budget. I approached and scrutinized every auto buying program at my disposal. Of all of those programs, Dade Auto Desk was the quickest and most responsive. Just be sure of value, I also went further by trying search and approach car dealers on my own with terrible results. Once that experiment was over, I contacted Dario from the auto desk again, voiced my concerns going it alone and the needs for a vehicle and over the course of 72 hours he found a vehicle at Auto Nation Honda in Miami Lakes that checked all the boxes, within my budget, and in a more recent year than I expected. The buy order went out within 20 minutes after getting off the phone, then a quick call from Rodolfo, my loan specialist at the credit union (very knowledgeable and leaves no question unanswered) to go over numbers, and on New years eve, I walked out with my new car with an additional $200 less than the out-the-door price. I would recommend to anyone who can become a member to join the Dade County Federal Credit Union and engage the auto desk if they need to purchase a car.

I've been going to this credit union for years, and have always been treated with courtesy and friendly tellers. They finally were able to move, to the new location inside the Government Center. It is beautiful, welcoming and State of the art. The customer service and personal acct. service teams are very helpful and knowledgeable with my financial needs. The Tellers at the Jackson location are very courteous, and friendly too.

For over 7 months one of the ATM machines had been down at another location, I spoke with Mr. Marvin Aguiriano and explained the situation and within 24 hours the ATM had been fixed. He was helpful, courteous and so very efficient!! I'm very grateful to have met him.

This is the worse bank in history, and it doesn't matter which location. I wish ratings weren't stars and instead zeros minus zeros. Is all about money for them and never to protect your interest and finances.

The staff is friendly and professional but the place needs remodeling and so does the entire Flagler street. Regardless of how it looks, I like credit unions because they give you a break over a regular bank. They are more personable.
