Darkroom with Manager Randy is One of the Top three Professional labs in The United States. Their Black & White prints are Great!! And their scanning services from film to digital is perfect as well! That is why so many International Clients go to them as well.

Wholeheartedly recommend Randy and Darkroom for your oversize photo printing projects. I had no previous knowledge of the printing process or my options of paper, finishes, and resolutions. Randy guided me, gave good, concrete advise and got it printed for a fair price.

Developed a few rolls here while visiting Miami, they processed and uploaded scans to WeTransfer once a week.

One of the best places to get your photo rolls developed in Miami, hands down. I've been getting them developed at D&D for several years, and they've always been quick to develop, affordable, and good quality. They also do more stuff (printing, photography, etc) but I have little knowledge about that side of their business.

Person who answered the phone wasn't helpful at all or provide options about using darkroom. Gonna use someplace else. No wonder they're not popular.

Got my negatives with a three day delay, no call as promised and with both rolls heavily scratched :(

I went to this place when I first started film photography and needed a place to develop film, I chose this place because it was only 6 min away from me. I stopped going after having many difficult experiences. This was in 2019. First off, I have been over charged there multiple times. Multiple times they tried to charge me again after I paid. I ended up getting charged $40 once for a basic develop and scan and had to explain to them I already paid. Once a woman there tried to charge me even after I told her I had paid but didn't believe me because the receipt wasn't attached to the envelope, and gave me a hard time. The main thing that made me stop coming was one event in particular. I was trying to get an expired film of ektachrome developed and I made sure to communicate to the shop owner Randy that it was very sensitive expired film and he told me he would start working on it right away. Skip to three weeks later. I had called multiple times, and even came in to the shop on several occasions when he told me it would be ready. Every time he told me he was working on it and he would have it done within the next three days. At a certain point I brought my boyfriend with me to pick it up and he didn't have it ready. he took us into the back were his desk was and I could see the space was a mess. He showed me that e was working on the photos and that he was having a hard time with them because of how low quality they were and he would have to use a different scanner. He ended up showing me some useful photoshop skills to make the photos come out better. Eventually he sent me the files. And they were corrupted! Luckily my boyfriend fixed them easily. Randy is a very chill guy, he's just a little slow. Overall there shop is cool, they have signed Bunny Yeager photos. They never lost my negatives and the image quality was good.

We had an important digital development project that I entrusted to Darkroom and Digital. The Master Printer who owns and operates this business produced three prints of exceptional quality.Highly recommend.

Every step of the way with these people was an awful experience. Their website shows that they close at 6pm, so it was odd that when I got there at 5:20pm, they were fully closed and no one answered their phone. Fine, whatever, they have a dropbox outside and I left my roll there and called back the next morning to confirm.I was surprised when they then tried to charge me an additional $2.50 for the privilege of having my scans emailed to me. I asked if I could just have them put on a USB drive when I picked up my film and they said no and that there was no other way for me to receive the scans. Essentially they were forcing me to pay an additional $2.50 than was listed, as this absurd charge for emailing scans is not listed on their website or order form, so I had no way of knowing that they would charge me that when I dropped off my film. After some back and forth with the person who answered the phone, she reluctantly agreed to waive the email charge and noted that "no one else has tried to fight it"--good for me I guess for being the first customer to call out non-sense charges that were never agreed to.When I called back a day later to confirm when it would be ready, Randy picked up the phone and, like many other reviewers on Yelp have noted, was not the least bit helpful and seemed annoyed that he had to speak to customers. When I arrived to pick up the film, they had thrown the loose negatives in a paper envelope, instead of putting it in a sheet or film canister, so the film had been getting crushed and wrinkled sitting underneath their other orders. At this point, I was just hoping the scans were OK. Wrong again. Complete trash. Despite describing their basic scans as 5MB scans on their website, each of my photos was around 1MB, which is just about the worst quality scan you can produce at home, much less for $19.00 from a professional.Take your film somewhere else where your business and film are valued.

Overpriced. Scans were low res and off kilter. Prints were mostly fine, but not worth the price. Also did not return a roll of my slides.

Randy is a master of his trade. There are very few people left in the business of photographic processing and printing that posess the skill and intererest in doing things the "old school" way. Just received my first prints from him and you can be SURE, that I would never go anywhere else! Amazing work!
