Wouldn't recommend. We had to switch rooms due to order, German roaches, black ants, sheets had alot of hair on them, garbage in can, dirty hand towel on bathroom counter, floor not clean, out dated rooms, hard bed, big Crack under door, lots of night activity n parking lot. Front desk changed us room. That room was clean but needed alot of work, no view, still lots of night activity. Glad it was only for one night. 6 hours & was out of there. Will never stay there again. Good luck on staying here. We stayed here due to other motels being booked so no choice. I do have pics of roaches.

The hotel room had an infestation of live and dead roaches. Roaches were crawling on the walls and floor of the room, also around the mini fridge. There was black mold on the ceiling of the room and the bathroom. Checked out immediately!Safety: Rooms are unsafe to stay in, hotel needs a deep cleaning and bombing for the roaches.

So… After our nightmare of an experience at the 11th Street Days Inn location (another terrible review on their location listing), we arrive to this one. Surely it has to be better than the last, right? Wrong! During our many calls to many hotels, I got a young gentleman on the phone at this location who was very kind and helpful. I explained what had happened and asked if they give any kind of discounts (many places give them for having AAA or being a nurse, so I asked about those). He said “sure, booking on our website will get you a rate of $180.” Awesome! I’m in! We already had money tied up in the other hotel that wasn’t refunded until after we got back and I had to fight T-mobile (since that’s who I made the reservation to and paid) for a half an hour to get my money back). So I was happy with the rate, given there were places with rates over $400 with rooms available, but I couldn’t justify that since we were only going to be in the room for roughly 7-8 hours to sleep. I call back and tell the man there is no option to input any info for the promo he offered, so the price was almost $100 more. He told me to go ahead and come in and he could help me. So, we arrive and are getting checked in. There are a man and woman at the counter, so I assumed the man checking us in was the one I called and he gave me the rate. When we approached the counter, I said “Hi, I’m the girl that called and spoke to you on the phone at the other location about the issues we were having.” He didn’t respond to that, which I thought was weird. He asked for my credit card. I gave it to him. He got us all the way checked in and my receipt showed a total of around $260. I questioned him about it and he and the other girl at the counter kind of jumped on me saying I should have mentioned the discount to begin with. I told him that’s why I had mentioned that I called. He told me he didn’t speak to me, that it had to have been the other guy that “just left.” So… The other guy knew I was coming and was having issues with making a reservation and didn’t say anything to anyone about it before leaving? Okay… Also, mind you it was only about 30 minutes after we had spoken (we had to wait for another Uber and spent another $30 to get to the new location). I asked if there was a way to refund the $260 and charge me for the discounted rate he had offered me. Again, no apologies whatsoever and just told me “no, not since your card has already been charged.” They acted as if this was my fault and there was no empathy at all. Again, rude staff, unprofessional, and just very uncaring people. We did stay anyway, but it was midnight and we were desperate. The room was poorly cleaned and certain lights and outlets didn’t work. Just a low-quality property in general. Definitely wouldn’t recommend anyone to stay here. The ONLY plus was that it is close enough to the Ihop that we could walk for breakfast the following morning before it was time to take the shuttle to the cruise port.

TLDR: Great location; perfect for traveling construction workers or airport layover things; would not bring family or plan a trip around staying here.Almost all the negative reviews I read make me feel like they don't stay near airports. I would absolutely kill for something like this in Chicago! Let me note that I spent $100 for the room around 4 days before my stay and there is a free airport shuttle. What people say about amenities is correct, but my room was fairly updated otherwise. My biggest 2 complaints are about my room: the door has to be pushed closed and the TV is maybe 32 inch from like 2006 with blown speakers. Very minor to me! However, the location easily makes up for it.The airport shuttle is shared between 3 Wyndham properties but was empty in early afternoon. I did wait about 45 minutes for it and it had several signs asking for gratuities. The room is typical, although a little small. The hot water was mediocre and seemed to start running out when I took one in late morning. But it was a walk-in. The entire room was very clean. It did lack all good amenities: no fridge, no microwave, I was at the end of the hall so WiFi didn't work. There was also the issue with the door from earlier and my window did not have screens. The air conditioner worked fine (in 70s weather). There was a switch that did not go to anything? But very satisfied overall. The pool was closed but they offered going next door to their sister property for free. There is no elevator. I repeat, there is NO elevator for your bags. But the first floor was about 4 steps and the staff was willing to help. I really enjoyed the staff. No complaints there. The location is the best part! It is actually right across from the back side of the airport and the road is extremely busy at all times. There is a Circle K right next to it. There is a Subway connected to it. Within a mile in either direction is ample food choices and other things that you could need. And I mean IHOP, McDonalds, etc. on top of the local, semi authentic food and several bars including Irish Pubs and upscale places about 1.5 miles away. Downtown is not very far. I say semi authentic only because most of what I saw had more Americanized choices than authentic sounding things. But the food was delicious and what I had I could not find around me. I went to the Airport Liquor down the street. Very odd place, but also very reasonable for liquor if that is your thing. And very reasonable for someone who thinks that Miami is super expensive. When looking at nearby online menus, think $15-$20, with sandwiches and fries closer to $8-$12. And tons of meat and fish choices.I felt safe walking around during the day. I wouldn't walk alone at night, but that is any big city or near any airport. But it is not for a proper vacation or with children. Go to one of the sister Wyndham properties that are clustered around here (downtown is a short Uber from this area) or just go downtown (but probably without an airport shuttle). I would absolutely stay again for an airport layover or if I was traveling for work for construction or trades.Note: Remember do NOT book hotels through third party sites. The times people show up and don't have a reservation is appalling. And not the hotels fault.Rooms: Simple, normal hotel room but a little smaller. And no common amenities like fridge or microwave. WiFi did not reach me. Hot water could have been better. But very clean and very comfortable bed.Safety: Felt very safe during the day. Entire time only 1 homeless person. Did not go out at night.Walkability: Felt safe during the day. More choices of food than you can imagine within 1-1.5 miles. Gas stations, liquor stores, smoke and cigar shops. Anything you can ask for short of a Walmart. However you are walking next to an extremely busy 4 Lane road behind the airport.Food & drinks: Ample choices of cuisines and fast food/chains within 1-1.5 miles. Subway connected and McDonalds about 5 minutes walk. Gas station next door. Reasonable liquor store down the road. And think $8-$12 for a

Last minute booking after my flight was canceled, and I was left stranded in Miami. Airport shuttle runs once every hour and was overcrowded.Old property, very dated, no elevator, no soundproofing (could hear conversations in other rooms). Questionable cleanliness. Amenities included coffee maker. Comfortable bed and pillows. Bathroom with loose sink faucet. Low water pressure in the shower.Wifi worked well. When I got my receipt, I noticed that they had added a $2 "security box" charge, which was not mentioned in the reservation and never disclosed to me. I complained to the front desk employee (Dayon), who refused to remove it and stated that he was only printing the receipt, and it was only $2 anyway. In the morning, the courtesy shuttle, which was supposed to depart at 06:00, didn't arrive until 06:10.Edit: After I posted this negative review and messaged Wyndham to complain, I received an update folio with the $2 charge removed.

Overall, we had a terrible experience with this Days Inn. We called the day of our reservation to confirm and were told it would be fine if we came in late due to flight delays. When we arrived around 4 in the morning we were very rudely turned away by the staff and told they sold all of the rooms for the night. This was after we spent $50 on a Uber to get there AND confirmed our reservation over the phone just a few hours before. The staff was condescending, snarky and made several rude comments throughout our experience. We were told we would get a courtesy cancellation for our inconvenience but later charged a $135 cancellation fee. Despite us being there when our reservation occurred and being turned away due to their negligence. From what we saw, the hotel was not clean, very small and in an unsafe part of town. I would not recommend staying here under any circumstance unless you want to spend the night on the airport floor.

Paid just over $200 for a hotel that did not smell good and after a long previous day of traveling internationally would have at least expected some hot water for my 5am shower before catching my morning flight. It was not a good experience or good accomodations for myself and I would not

The concierge on the day I entered was very friendly. But it is a hotel that clearly does not have maintenance. Very dirty. Poor cleaning in the rooms. Shattered sheets. I do not recommend it for a long stay. If you stay overnight while waiting for a flight due to the proximity to the airport. Oh, and check the room carefully, you may find surprises (photos)

I’m be as honest as possible. I would stay here if it was an emergency situation but not to relax. Or if you weren’t planning on being in your room at all but just needed somewhere to sleep briefly or keep your things. Kind of in an area that is not touristy but more residential if you are looking for a different experience. I would not recommend staying here with kids or if you are planning on spending a lot of time at the hotel.

Pubic hairs on bathtub, toilet and floor. Room next to us had a war movie marathon at full volume. Called front desk and security and they did absolutely nothing about it. Wife and I got 3 hours of sleep before we just got up for an early morning.
