I would give zero stars if I could. The employees have an awful attitude towards the clients. They almost always delay orders or have them incomplete, and I would overall NOT recommend this place. Look for another one even if you pay a bit more, the experience will be much better.

They don't work, the only thing they do know is to charge and give a very bad service. They have not been able to complete an order in almost 3 weeks and the worst thing is that there is only one store here in Miami, so they think they are unique and do not care about the quality of customer service that have made them great.

I’ve been looking for a local supplier of B/BB grade 1/4 inch thick Baltic birch plywood and when I called Dixie Plywood, I was told their Miami location had it. When I called the Miami location, the salesperson who answered the phone looked it up and confirmed they had B/BB grade cabinet 1/4 thick Baltic birch plywood in stock and I could come by and pick up as many sheets as I’d like. The very next morning my husband took the 45 plus minute drive down there with the exact thing that I needed written on paper: 2 sheets B/BB grade 1/4 inch thick Baltic birch plywood. As soon as my husband arrived there he was given a hard time. They refused to sell him two sheets and would only sell three or more. Not wanting to waste the trip he agreed to purchase three. Once again he showed them the paper with the exact type I needed and was sold three sheets. After he came home he cut the sheets into usable sized ones for our laser cutting business. As soon as I went to use it however, I immediately realized that this was completely not what I was supposed to receive. This was much, much lower grade wood. After trying to use it and it almost catching fire and not being cut even with our big laser, I looked at the receipt and sure enough, this was BB/CP grade with exterior use glue inside the core and not the B/BB cabinet grade interior use that I needed. The next morning I called and spoke with the supervisor. I told him exactly what happened and his response was looks like they made a mistake, he doesn’t carry the grade I needed, in fact he has never carried it. After placing me on hold he came back and said he’d make an exception and take it back for a refund ONLY if it was in the original condition. I was flabbergasted honestly. I had JUST finished telling him that the wood was cut down into pieces to fit the lasers and he had the nerve to tell me this? Your employees who the public trusts to sell them what they need obviously have no idea what they’re doing and this is the best you can do? He then proceeded to tell me that the inside core of all birch plywood is the same. I’m not sure if it’s because I’m a woman or maybe he thinks I was born yesterday, but no, the inside core and glue used absolutely is not the same in all birch plywood. It literally takes but a second to verify this information. I purchase thousands of dollars worth of Baltic Birch plywood every month so to tell me this is absurd. Now don’t get me wrong, I absolutely did not expect to be fully refunded without returning the wood and would gladly waste two hours of my life returning it if they’d take it. I did expect some kind of an attempt to at least make it right for me. No such attempt was made what’s and now I am out $200 and stuck with a bunch of wood I can’t use. I can’t even imagine running a plywood supply warehouse with employees that have absolutely no clue what they’re doing or selling and then not knowing the very basics yourself as a “supervisor.” I chose Dixie over International plywood who also said they had it and at a much lower price too only because Dixie was a bit closer. Big mistake.

I was looking for a local supplier of b/bb cabinet grade birch plywood. I called Dixie plywood and was told that yes they do carry it and have it in stock. The person on the phone asked how many sheets I'd like and I told him I'd like two for now since I am waiting on a large shipment and after that I'd be interested in setting up a wholesale account. I was told this wasn't a problem and that I can drive down and pick some up. The next morning my husband drove down there with specific written instructions for the salesperson on what we needed. As soon as my husband arrived, he was immediately given a hard time about only wanting to purchase two and was told they'd sell to him only if he buys three. Not wanting to waste the trip he agreed. After he cut the sheets into smaller parts to for our laser cutting business I went to begin using some and immediately realized this was absolutely not what I needed. This was not b/bb grade, not even close. This was bb/cp grade which is completely different. This was confirmed when I tried to laser cut it and it almost caught fire and did not cut even with our big laser. The next morning I called and spoke with the supervisor who said they don't carry b/bb grade and never have. They only sell bb/cp and whoever we spoke with made a mistake. He then proceeded to try and tell me that the glue is the same on all birch plywood. Maybe he thought that since I'm a woman I don't know anything or that I was born yesterday, but the glue types used on b/bb cabinet grade indoor use birch plywood is absolutely completely different than the glue used on bb/cp outdoor use birch plywood. The description on his product even states EXT which means it's exterior use plywood. You can see on the receipt it says this. He then told me I'm basically out of luck and stuck with $200 worth of completely useless to me plywood. I could return it only if it was exactly as sold which would mean I'd have to lose two hours of work to drive all the way down there and back and since we've cut it, we couldn't return it. This is unacceptable. If your employees don't know about the products they sell and how to do their job then maybe you as a supervisor have failed. I chose this company over International Plywood who also said they have what I needed and at a much lower price as well only because Dixie was a bit closer. Big mistake.

(Translated by Google) I do not advise anyone to buy here, we bought 2 plates, we came to return them the next day because the client did not like it and they did not accept it, according to because they only accept if you register the company, okay, I offered to register the company and that they would take away the 15 % as your bill says and they said no. It is simply a company that cares very little about its image and customers.(Original)No le aconsejo a nadie que compre aqui, compramos 2 planchas vinimos a devolverlas al dia siguiente porque a la cliente no le gusto y no la aceptaron, segun porque solo aceptan si registras la empresa, okey ofreci registrar la empresa y que me quitaran el 15% como dice su factura y me dijeron que no. I'm a carpenter and shop manager at a design build company and I love Dixie ply for any materials. They are super responsive and get back with pricing within one phone call. Will definitely continue using them for all my building needs, both personal and for the business.
