Garbage moving company, the movers destroy your property during moving, scrape walls and don't want to pay for damages, then demand a tip. The owner dying is Karma. I'm sure God showed him the wrong doings of his workers and company ethics.🤔

I wish I had researched the google reviews earlier. We used this company to move us from a condo to a house that was literally 5 minutes away. I received quotes from 3 companies and all offered a similar offering- we knew someone who used these guys so we went with them- what a terrible mistake.
There’s so much to say but the main things were:
1) the moving men were very unprofessional and didn’t want to finish the job same day. They arrived late and wanted to be done by 7pm even though they left the couch and dining table still at our condo. Towards the end of the day, one of the men was using foul language while my children were home.
2) after they brought over most of the furniture, I asked them to put together the children’s beds because it was already 8:30pm. Nothing was done until 11pm at night so I had to have my children sleep at a neighbors who we happen to know. Ridiculous
3) they dented a coffee table and a wall and offered me $75 as compensation! The coffee table was made out of wood and not fragile at all! They were careless with our things
4) they kept asking for full payment in the middle of the job- when they arrived at the house and still had our couch and dining table at the condo. they refused to move anything off the truck until i texted the owner- jay.
5) me and my husband went to the condo after things were completed and found so much still there- we stayed til 2am doing trips to take everything. including photos of all the items they left and showing some of the damage done.
6) once they finally finished (the next day) they refused to put furniture in the right place until I called the owner again to handle!
7) they stole a case of beer
do not use they suck!

Father & Son Moving and Storage has so too many lawsuits against them to count. I made the mistake of googling this crooked company after they destroyed all of my furniture. They dragged my mattress so badly across the floor that it ripped to shreds and had to be thrown away. They cracked my marble kitchen island. They reimburse you for damages based on the weight of your furniture and not the value. According to them, $10,000 worth of furniture damage is worth $75 based on pounds. RUN from this company if you see them coming your way. They are deplorable. Hire ANYONE else!

I paid for them to pack my entire apartment move it to my new apartment 5 minutes away and unpack due to a surgery I had so I couldn’t do the work myself.
They arrived packed everything and loaded the truck. Once I saw most things were loaded I informed them I was going to head to the new apartment and open everything up so it was ready for them to begin unloading when they arrived.
This was my first mistake because as soon as I left they decided to leave about 10 different items behind in my old apartment because I was not there to supervise.
While they were unloading I noticed some things were missing so I asked them about it, and the supervisor of the job said that they left it in the other apartment. I told them that I needed it and I would go back and get it and I would be right back. when I arrived at the old apartment, I noticed all the things that have been left behind, which was obviously very disappointing. By the time I got back to the new apartment, they had finished loading everything in and took off. They did not help me unpack, which I paid for and on top of that they had broken several very expensive irreplaceable items and hid them on top of my kitchen cabinets and in closets hoping that I wouldn’t notice until it was too late. I immediately started calling them and reaching out and nobody ever answered my calls. I called the office left messages sent emails and no one ever responded back to me , they left my new apartment in the biggest mess I have ever seen in my life to the point where I had to hire all new people to come in and help me finish the job that they never finished.
I would stay clear of this company. It is one thing to have employees who do the wrong thing or to make mistakes but it is entirely different to reach out to the office directly and never receive any response whatsoever.

I used Father and Son moving and storage a few months ago. A few items were damaged in the move… Nothing major. After reaching out to the company several times I have still not gotten a response. After reading online reviews it seems that this is their MO. They will not stand behind their work. Buyer beware and do your research.As I read the positive reviews I wonder how many of those people are their friends and family.

They sent only 2 people instead of 4 to do my move. The result was terrible: dining room table broken, TV stand broken, dresser broken, two holes on my dry wall. Then you fill out a claims form and nothing happens. Do now hire this company!

This moving company was the WORST I have ever seen. They actually stored our stuff for 4 1/4 months and we paid our bill on the first of every month and when we had them bring our stuff to us it was only 8 days into the month and we received NO refund. Three of my possessions were broken in pieces and we never received all of my husbands painting equipment. They actually had other peoples things on our truck that they tried to give us but of course we didn’t allow that. I reached out to the company numerous times with NO CALL BACK. We also let the BBB know. DO NOT TRUST THIS COMPANY!!

Worst experience ever ! I booked them few weeks ahead. I included all the pictures in the email. Also I specifically told them I have a piano that need to move from second floor condo. They confirmed the date, the time , the price. Today , they sent two guys here. They didn't know about the piano! They need an extra person to move the piano and of course they need to charge me extra. But . .they charge more expensive than fuentes and other companies. Of course I don't agree with the price. Why booked them if they charge more than others companies? The Boss told the guy to leave !!! Now, I am finding others companies last minute. The guys they sent here are okay but the people that work in the office and the Boss is a joke.

I was super stressed by my move, and Miami is not an easy place to navigate when it comes to any type of service. They were great. From the quote (asked for a flat rate and got it), to the service itself. I asked for packing and moving. Angel and Rene were super nice, fast, reliable, precise: everything was packed and moved with extreme care. Shout out to Mieke and Paula as well. Would definitely recommend the service to anyone!

I used Father & Son moving after selling my house and needed to move into a rental. The movers were on time, extremely professional, finished the job in the expected timeline. Very competitive pricing and worth every penny! I will definitely use them again when I am ready to move into our new construction home in a few months!Service: Local moving
