Shady business that tries to add on excessive fees on prepaid reservations. Also not a safe part of town. Avoid at all costs.

I made the appointment to pick up my rental for 6 A.M, it is currently 6:40 AM and no one has came to help in anyway. The fact that you only have one person for the front desk and that they are over 40 minutes lates and everyone else that is here is either too useless or clueless to be able to help someone get their rental. Straight up garbage. Don't recommend

I wish I could give zero stars honestly. Upon picking up my rental Ivan was the one who assisted me during the process. He was very very rude and had nasty attitude towards me. Kept pushing things on me when I had said no I already purchased that. He got mad. I was looking at him like dude are you seriously caring on like this. He has terrible customer service. However, the young lady Ericka, who checked me back in once I returned the vehicle, was a very nice lady. She’s wonderful. You’ll can keep her and give her a raise that’s how good she is all around. But, Ivan, on the other hand, needs to be fired. Because he will ruin FOX’s reputation that you all are trying to build.

Great company! I was initially worried because of the low price I paid, but to my surprise they didn't force me to buy any insurance like some abusive low-cost companies do! Check-in was smooth, super fast and practical, picking up and dropping off the car without any bureaucracy! Special mention to the driver Sam, a super helpful, approachable and attentive driver! I couldn't recommend this company more.

First time running with Fox at the Miami airport.
Waited a few minutes longer than expected at the airport. Otherwise it was a good ride. Good customer service at the counter upon arrival. The SUV the re-rented did not have water in the reservoir reported that when we returned upon arrival for the return, Erika greeted us on time very personable. I would rent again from Fox. Thank you.

The car was OK, but the 2 hr. wait to get to the counter was outrageous. Surly, indifferent, slow-moving counter staff; never apologetic. On return, they charged $29.92 for 2.77 gallons of fuel, although they advertise a price of $2.79 per gallon. Avoid Fox at all costs. Never again!

DEPOSIT MONEY THEFT, $800 CRIMINAL THEFT ON TOP OF A $340 RENTAL, LIARS AND DISRESSPECTFUL AGENTS. Violations of U.S. Contract Law and Statute of Frauds
Pursuant to the Statute of Frauds, all material terms of a vehicle rental contract must be disclosed in writing prior to execution. The process imposed by Europcar personnel failed to satisfy this requirement and violated essential elements of contract formation — Offer, Acceptance, Legality, and Mutual Assent.
a. Deceptive Contract Signing – Lack of Mutual Assent
Europcar’s agent required me to sign approximately ten (10) blank electronic signature pages on a monitor without displaying any terms, pricing, or conditions. This constitutes a complete absence of mutual assent, as defined under U.S. common law. The printed contract copy provided was illegible and incomplete, lacking operative terms, rendering it unenforceable and void ab initio.
b. Excessive Holds and Unauthorized Fees – Unconscionability
Following execution, Europcar imposed unreasonably large and prolonged credit holds and later introduced unauthorized charges exceeding 200% of the agreed rental price ($346.46 as per Expedia and the Default Reservation Form)
.
This practice violates the doctrine of unconscionability and the duty of fair dealing under U.S. consumer and contract law.
c. Failure to Conduct Proper Vehicle Inspections – Breach of Good Faith
No Europcar representative performed a joint vehicle inspection during pickup or return. This procedural omission shifts the evidentiary burden to the consumer, violating the implied covenant of good faith and fair dealing and nullifying any claim to damages.
d. Hidden and Unauthorized Fees – Illegality and Lack of Consideration
Multiple hidden surcharges were added without prior disclosure, consent, or any corresponding benefit — violating basic principles of consideration and rendering the additional charges void for illegality.
