Booked through AAA. Paid for the insurance seperately. They do not accept debit cards or even allow you to use it as credit. Then they do allow it but tack on a $500 deposit on top of the rental cost. Also you're not worthy to get a truck or SUV, a large sedan is the best they'll do. Ridiculous.

Waited for 40 minute for them to tell me they don’t have the vehicle I need and to wait for them to call me to pick it up .

SO UNPROFESSIONAL! They canceled my reservation the day and time I’m supposed to pick up my vehicle. They didn’t even offer any solutions, just canceled last minute after I paid and reserved online. They told me online reservation is NOT even a guarantee. Luckily I got accommodated by Enterprise Kendall. Not going back to this place and would not recommend it to others.

This will be the last time I rent from Hertz because of this location.
I had a deeply disappointing experience with Hertz car rental recently. Upon receiving the vehicle, it was evident that it hadn't been properly cleaned. Despite this, they still had the audacity to apply a cleaning fee to my bill. When I attempted to address this issue by calling their customer service line, I was put on hold for 10 minutes before being unceremoniously hung up on. This level of negligence and poor customer service is completely unacceptable. I would strongly advise against using Hertz for any future car rental needs.

I been coming to this Hertz for many months, I'm a gold member and travel most of the time, Lily and James always go above and beyond to meet my needs, the manager Helen always comes out to greet me and makes me feel as part of the family, I do understand that sometimes they're extremely busy during high season, which happens in every industry, will recommend to all my friends and family.

This is the worst car rental place I have dealt with in my life. After completing the paperwork with a rep, I waited for about 40 minutes for the car that was being washed/ cleaned for me. When inspecting the car noticed that it was very dirty outside and to that the rep stated that they cannot use water in that location hence why they couldn’t wash the outside. I wanted to identify and take pictures of the outside dings and scratches as I usually do for my records but being so dirty, that turned out quite difficult. My second complaint came when I inspected the inside to find that it was also very dirty with crumbs on the floor, dirt all over, hair, smudges on screen and dashboard and an uncomfortable leftover cigarette smell.. Whoever cleaned it inside has no regards for their customers nor notion of what a clean vehicle is. I went inside to express my complaint and their manager went out to inspect it herself. Without returning to talk to me, she drove away and came back 30 minutes later with the car in a slightly cleaner condition inside but still unacceptable. She was overall very unapologetic and only asked me if the car is better now (said she cleaned it herself more). I asked her why they didn’t clean it better to begin with and she just replied that they have to turn around the car quickly for the next client. I had to go to work so I didn’t have more time to continue wasting waiting arguing for them to “clean it” more or change it. Hertz car rental across from Tamiami airport has very poor customer service from their manager and total disregard/ disrespect for their clients.
