This is the worst car rental place I have dealt with in my life. After completing the paperwork with a rep, I waited for about 40 minutes for the car that was being washed/ cleaned for me. When inspecting the car noticed that it was very dirty outside and to that the rep stated that they cannot use water in that location hence why they couldn’t wash the outside. I wanted to identify and take pictures of the outside dings and scratches as I usually do for my records but being so dirty, that turned out quite difficult. My second complaint came when I inspected the inside to find that it was also very dirty with crumbs on the floor, dirt all over, hair, smudges on screen and dashboard and an uncomfortable leftover cigarette smell.. Whoever cleaned it inside has no regards for their customers nor notion of what a clean vehicle is. I went inside to express my complaint and their manager went out to inspect it herself. Without returning to talk to me, she drove away and came back 30 minutes later with the car in a slightly cleaner condition inside but still unacceptable. She was overall very unapologetic and only asked me if the car is better now (said she cleaned it herself more). I asked her why they didn’t clean it better to begin with and she just replied that they have to turn around the car quickly for the next client. I had to go to work so I didn’t have more time to continue wasting waiting arguing for them to “clean it” more or change it. Hertz car rental across from Tamiami airport has very poor customer service from their manager and total disregard/ disrespect for their clients.

I called to reserve a car, I explained to agrnt that I was using a debt card. He told me it would be a 200.00 dollar hold. I said fine.Went to pick up car and was told 500.00 hold which I didn't have. How Embarrassing that was due to having to take a uber there and back to hotel. I was in Miami hoping to take is some sight seeing on my last day before returning back to Seattle.It ask me to rate my experience which would of been 0 stars but I had to hit something in order to send this, that is why I only choice 1 star.Not pleased at all and this is the second time I have been disappointed with your customeer.

Lily is the best. She helped us tremendously, we had a few hiccups that she was able to help resolve. (She even gave us a vehicle upgrade!)

I do not like to provide bad reviews but this was the worst experience I've ever had renting a car. My appointment was at 3 pm I left the location almost at 5 pm they were telling me the excuse that the car was dirty and that it needed to be cleaned. I waited two hours and they never cleaned the car. I told the employee that the car had not been cleaned. He took the car to the back and he comes right away back with the car exactly the way it was the first time. They gave me a car that someone had being smoking inside. I have problems with my lungs I also had covid 6 months ago I am always short of breath I have to carry an oxygen can. I thought rental car companies don't allow smoking in the cars. They should have disclosed because there's people that have medical condition like me. I have a sore throat and I don't feel good. I was supposed to leave today and I had to delay my trip until Friday because I had to clean the car inside and put desinfect and clean it . I hope all the odor goes away. They also put 3 air fresheners, look at the picture and they never disclosed regarding the smoke odor in the car. I will never rent from this location again. I want a credit for not being able to leave today and giving me a dirty car plus the cigarette smoke ? odor. The car has roaches and I purchased bomb roach kit and there are still roaches in the car.

NEVER AGAIN!!! A shame !!!!!I paid for a convertible model, when I arrived they told me they don't have one, so I got a worse car, not convertible and dirty!!!And of course no financial compensation !!!!But why rent cars you don't have ??? You are a scam !!!In addition to being a shame, Hertz is dangerous ! Indeed, after one day I got an alert telling me that the tires were deflated. I tried to call several times Hertz who referred me to the local agency where I picked up the car. They put me on hold each time and hung up on me after 10-15 minutes.I had to call some locals to help me ! What a shame!!!

RUN AWAY FROM HERTZ, AND PARTICULARLY HEREChris Castillo served us. We got the wrong car, dirty inside and outside. Tires were low on the first day and the car got into security mode.Chris was absolutly terrible, he was slow (50mins to get a car already reserved), and not helpful at allWorst renting experience ever, DO NOT GO THERE

Be very careful with renting a car in this place, very bad customer service... if you rent online you have a good chance that when you go to pick up the car they won't have it. They don't have transportation to take you or to bring you... if you go by uber and they don't have the car... you waste your time and money from the uber... they also usually charge you without having done their job. which will take you more time to try to solve your money ..... .......I recommend renting in enterprise. much better attention... ***** DONT RENT HERE*****

Bad customer service, dirty place, the only bathroom is out of service, cars are dirty from the outside, they are not washed. Cars have problems, an example AC dosent work or seat belts. I dont recommend this place.

This is the first time that I am writing a review. The experience was so horrible that I thought the one thing that I can do was to warn others about this HORRIBLE business with unethical practices and horrible customer service. I rented a car for one day. They charged me for 6 days. I had to jump through endless hoops to get it rectified. After several phone calls, and waiting two weeks to get my refund, they issued the refund as if they were doing me a favor. I was also charged $25 for tolls when I had my own Sunpass. I am being asked to jump through more hoops to get that rectified. Their mistakes has become my problem. I went to the office to get a receipt. I had to walk out. I waited patiently for 15 minutes. They were taking care of people walking in without even acknowledging my existence. This place has the worst business practices and customer service that I have seen in a very long time. Go elsewhere. There’s an Enterprise right down the street. I had no problem there.

This was the worst experience in all my years of renting cars; TERRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE. We almost lost our vacation trip because of them. The car that I reserved a long time in advance was given to another person in front of me, even though I was waiting the whole time and half an hour before all the rental car services closed, they told me; They didn't even help us look for cars in other places. They wanted to give us a luxury car at double the price for what we had reserved. AND THE MANAGER NEVER SHOWED UP!!
