We have been so pleased with IContainers, Laura Arango and Mauricio Kertzman have stepped up to the plate for us. Their response is always on time and their customer service has been incredible, unlike the last importer we had!

I’m not usually a reviewer but my experience with iContainers was special, to say the least. I shipped my first pallet from San Francisco to Saigon in August ‘20 just as the COVID thing was blowing up. I had clear arrangements to be in Saigon when my shipment arrived, but this ended up not happening. My shipment arrived in Saigon as scheduled, but not me. It took me 1 1/2 years to finally be allowed to travel to Viet Nam. My shipment was held in a customs warehouse this entire time. There was great bureaucratic difficulty to clear my shipment which went on for almost another year. Finally the powers that be came to an agreement with a lot of help from Klaus at iContainers and I finally received my shipment. I then sent another shipment this past Sept. which arrived and was cleared so smoothly and exactly on schedule. Thanks to the staff at iContainers!!

Never choose this company, it's a scammer, just for a very few domestic goods in 3 pallets, they charged us almost 1,900.00 US dollars, saying we couldn't do the errands at the destination Port. They gave us 2 options (2 thieves) for brokers at destination Port. My friend from Canada, for a cContainer with a car and domestic goods was charged 400.00 US dollars at destination Port, and never needed them a broker (we paid to the scammers 3,000.00 US dollars at destination). So, always go to the Port to make sure everything is okay and do it yourself. Never choose this company, it is a scam, just for a few household goods spread over 3 pallets, they charged us 1,400.00 American dollars. They gave us 2 options once at destination AGL and Decapack (2 scammers), saying that it was impossible for us to do the procedures at the destination port. My acquaintance from Canada, for a container, with a car and household goods, Customs in Chile charged her 400 American dollars and she never needed an intermediary. My advice go to the port of destination, do it yourself.

Worst service ever, very disorganized! I took 3 pallets from baltimore to Chile. Paid $1,300 dolars, but in Chile with the agents that icontainers gave me I ended up paying $3,000 dolars extra for just 3 pallets with just home good. My friend from Canada moved at the same time and paid for a 20' container $2,400 and in Chile ended up paying no more than a $1,000. She took a volvo xc90 2006 and the home goods. How is this possible?

Excellent service and communication. They keep you informed about your shipment from day one until the shipment is delivered. I have used iContainers for shipment to El Salvador (Ocean) and Puerto Rico (Ocean and Air). Will continue to work with iContainers. Thanks to Miguel Botero and Natalia.

We moved from Valencia, Spain to Los Angeles, California this Summer. We used iContainers for our shipment which was a delight from the beginning. From 1st point of contact with Manel Aragones and, through shipping coordination with Santiago Mora and Ruth Lecegui in Spain, to shipment status and port arrival and delivery coordination with Laura Arango. Critical information regarding possible fees was disclosed from the beginning which was ideal, knowing what could and would happen as shipment moved throughout different ports was a relief, No surprises. Also the entire shipping fee was reasonably priced and the shipment arrived within the disclosed timeline for this shipment. Customer service continues to decline all across the service industry, with iContainers Customer Service is alive and well! Incredible customer service to be frank. We will use iContainers if we ever decide to move around the globe. Extraordinary Company to say the least!

I have never shipped a container of our belongings overseas before. I was quite nervous to pick a company as there are many choices and many price points. We had the time to pack our own boxes and create our own packing lists ( I highly recommend the BOXES app!) so I decided to not pay close to $50,000 to the full service shippers and went with iContainers due to their generally positive reviews. Initial contact was great and the process was explained well to me and communication was good. I decided we needed a 40 foot long High cube container (these are taller than regular containers) and this was located and booked for me by Jose in sales. He was an excellent communicator and knowledgeable. I was then assigned to Carolina Castano to coordinate the logistics. She was not quite as prompt as Jose but she knows the business and everything went really smoothly. The container arrived at my house on time, we hired movers to wrap our furniture and to load all of our goods on the container. The container stays on the back of the truck so it is 4 feet above ground level and there are no ramps or lifts. Our movers loaded all of our belongings on their lift trucks first and then backed up to the container and unloaded. It is critical to find a moving company willing to work with you on container loading. That all went smoothly and we locked up the back of the container and off it went from Park City, UT to the Port of LA by rail. iContainers will update you when the container has reached each segment of it's journey and let you know which vessel your goods are on. You can then track it on MarineTraffic or other ship tracking websites. iContainers will set you up with a freight company at your destination to get it through customs and loaded on a truck to it's final destination. It is up to you to find movers to unload it as once again the container does not come off of the truck bed.I would highly recommend iContainers as, at least for me, everything went smoothly, events happened on time and were well communicated. None of our stuff was broken or damaged thanks to excellent packing by us and our movers. I would say you can book them with confidence but be prepared that there is quite a lot for the customer to do as it is your stuff after all. There were no hidden fees or bait and switch tactics. The cost for actually shipping the container to Ireland was about $6500, which I thought extremely reasonable. I also paid about $6000 for US movers and about €3500 for Irish movers and I also paid Emerald Freight( I highly recommend), the Irish Freight and customs company I was assigned to, about €1600 for customs fees, port fees, trucking fees to rural County Cork, etc. I was made aware of all those charges well in advance by Jose and Carolina.Net net I moved all my stuff half way across the world by train, truck and sea for about $18000. I moved to Park City, UT from Florida 7 years ago and that cost me over $35000. With inflation and fuel through the roof that must cost over $50000 now! Thanks again Jose, Carolina and all the people there at iContainers for holding my hand and doing a great job at what they do.
