This company was assigned to me for my military household goods move. Unfortunately, they failed to note on the paperwork that they had dismantled my furniture. Because of this oversight, the delivery team in the new place refused to reassemble anything. This simple paperwork error caused unnecessary stress and extra work on my end. Accuracy in documentation is critical in moves like this, and I wish there had been more attention to detail. Besides, they were not the most careful, nor respectful, when carrying items and entering my apartment.

I never did business with this moving company so I can’t speak for the reliability, integrity, service, or reputation of Joe’s Moving, however, I did purchase a “lot” of items from the new owner of this moving company, Juan. Juan states that the items he was selling was bought from storage units that he flips. He had listed photos of everything that was included. One of the items was missing (it was one of the main reasons I bought the lot of items - the rest I maybe could use, maybe couldn’t). Juan said that he had lent that item out to a friend and will let me know when that friend returned it so he can give it to me. I ended up taking Juan at his word, sent him the money, took the rest of the lot with me. I tried 3 times following up with Juan about the item that was missing and he just ghosted me. Maybe the friend didn’t give it back to him, maybe his friend broke it, etc. That would be understandable but instead of communicating with me what happened, I just got no response and never got the item that was supposed to be included. A gentleman’s agreement is still an agreement (at least in my eyes). Worth going to court for? Probably not. But moral of the story is, if you do business with him or his company, make sure to get whatever is promised to you in writing otherwise you probably won’t get it at all. I would imagine with moving companies this is very important to do. It sucks because a handshake should be as good as a contract but in this world it is not. The rest of the transaction went good (he was punctual, respectful, etc). I would’ve left 5 stars if he didn’t do me dirty with that one item or at the very least communicated with me if something happened. I was going to reach out for a 4th time to follow up but figured I’d just get ghosted again so figure I’ll just leave an honest review of my experience instead.

Juan was excellent and very attentive to our needs. The whole process was easy and painless. I would highly recommend Joes moving and storage. They went above and beyond in the most professional and courteous manner. Thanks guys!

I highly recommend Joes Moving and Storage , needed to have my furniture stored for over a year then moved to Gulfport, Fla. Everyone i interacted with along the way was responsive, friendly, and professional. My belongings were handled with care and moved without one dent.

Moving can be quite stressful. After many calls to get the right company,I am thrilled Joe Moving came to our home. Only company that came to get a true assessment of what items we were moving. From the initial phone call to Juan coming to our home to see exactly what was being moved. I knew this was the company for us. The staff is professional and second to none. Juan had all the details down to how many boxes would be needed. On pick up day they were prompt, Edgar and his crew came wrapped everything and were very careful moving all my furniture and boxes from the second floor into the truck. I have never felt so comfortable seeing our personal items handle by someone else. They dropped off our move today and once again they were professional, detailed, accommodating and a true pleasure to work with. All those involved from the initial phone call to the last box being delivered brought me peace of mind. Highly recommend this gem of a company. Everything was handled exactly as Juan assured me the first day he went to our home. I wish there was another word for Thank you! Juan, Edgar, the 2 gentlemen in (South Florida), Albert and Dex. I’m truly grateful for all of you! A++++++++

Joe's Moving was the company in charge of making our move within Miami. Our move was from an apartment condominium to a house. Despite the problems we had due to the organization of the building administrators, the staff at Joe's Moving knew how to organize themselves to have everything on time, and as planned, to be able to move everything to our new home.
Without a doubt I would hire them again for future moves.
