Walked in and walked out. I saw how one lady painted someone’s nails. The polish was all over her cuticles. Total disaster

Very disappointed with the service. Came in for Gel Pedicure and Gel Manicure, First thing when they opened. Tech took over 40 min to remove my gel. Then when I kindly requested in both English and Spanish that she not drill file the polish off and instead wrap the shelac with acetone(it was shelac brand, I brought it myself to my last service at another salon) she rightfully pushed the gel off and then refused to complete the service insisting if she couldn’t destroy my nails in her “way” i should wait for the manager. Kindly the manager offered to complete the service, and she was nice, but The manager was completing a long service with another client with an appointment, therefore it would have been a wait to complete the service. And frankly after the other tech was so rude, I didn’t want to stay and went to another salon for completing my nails. I was the only person in the salon for most of the service, so it wasn’t like they were super busy. Kudos to the manager for offering to complete my nails, but not in the 14 years I have been doing gel nails in Miami, have I seen such a poor nail tech and had such poor service. At the end, the charged me $15 for the gel removal. A rip off after such terrible service. Avoid this place unless you are going to have the manager do your nails.

Uuuumm... no. Don't do it. This has got to be the worst pedicure I've EVER received :( The lady who did it was veryyyyyyy nice/sweet but the work is terrible. The salon itself it's nothing fancy at all, which is not a problem. Sometimes the non-fancy is better than the fancy so I didn't mind. The gel colors that you pick from are still in the box, on the wall. So unless you know exactly what color you're looking for, it may be hard to choose being that the bottle doesn't always match the exact color. Also, there's a limited selection. For me, it wasn't a problem because I knew I wanted funny bunny. Now. The actual pedicure. :/. They do not put liners in their pedicure tub which I find very disturbing because I did not see her clean the tub before or after I was finished. The file that she used on my toes had no more grit. It felt like it did nothing. The cuticle cutters were very dull. I regularly get pedicures so I don't have much to remove but she didn't remove anything from my toes and it's because she couldn't. The tools that she used on me did not come out of a sterilization package, instead it came out of her drawers. Separate drawers at that. As you can see the paint job is very very very bad. I am embarrassed to post it lol. I knew by the 3rd coat of funny bunny that it was not going to look good. She used at least 5 coats of funny bunny, not exaggerating. I would not recommend/return. For the price of the pedicure, you can go elsewhere. ($40) I do appreciate them taking me, immediately, without an appointment and treating me so kindly but never again.

Recently saw a sign outside Kimberly's Nails that said $30 Mani/Pedi Special and was super intrigued to check it out. I haven't seen a mani/pedi special that cheap in years so I figured, "why not?" I walked in without an appointment and Rubi was available to take me in without a minute's wait. The salon is decent looking. Traditional nail salon setup with a few tech stations and the rows of massage chairs for pedicures. What caught my attention the most was that they didn't use any plastic liners in the spa pedicure stations. Normally that's a huge red flag for me and I would've walked right out but there were a ton of "COVID-19 Barbicide Training" certificates on the walls and bottles of Barbicide everywhere so I figured their sanitation habits must be healthy regardless of not using the plastic liners. Rubi was nice enough for a nail tech. She spent a good majority of my pedicure complaining about staying past 5 PM to service other walk-in customers and by the time my manicure rolled around, she'd stopped complaining. I felt bad so I didn't tell her anything, I just let her vent but it was a bit of a downer on what should've been some much needed "me time". Either way, the pedicure was nice. Rubi was thorough and listened well when I mentioned I didn't like too much to the "cheese grader" and more of the pumice stone. The paint job was average. Photo attached shows the final product on my manicure. Average job there too. All in all, for $30 you definitely get your money's worth. I don't know if I'll go back here yet. Maybe a different tech will do a better job, but for now Kimberly's nails gets a 3 star rating from me because they were good, but not great. Definitely has room for improvement.
