Legion Park is a pleasant, peaceful, and sprawling green oasis in Miami, providing a tranquil escape from the city's hustle and bustle. It is a lovely park right on the bay with beautiful views, plenty of greenery, convenient paths, and a lot of trees. It is a super nice park offering a variety of activities and attractions for all ages, making it a perfect spot for a picnic, a morning run, or simply a relaxing day in the fresh air.
The park is excellent for family fun, featuring a big playground for kids with slides for toddlers on up. For sports, there are basketball and tennis courts, a baseball diamond, and a disc golf course. It also has workout stations. The park fosters a strong sense of community and is a great community hub, often hosting weekend farmer markets and community yoga. It is very dog-friendly, with a super equipped, huge fenced dog park with natural grass, a puppy playground, and a big area for dogs. Legion Park is a must-visit, welcoming haven and a true gem in the city.

I love it here - farmers market Saturdays, and also walking around the backside and doing wi gong or meditating with the land, trees & water… so magical & tranquil.
