We were greeted in Spanish by a bald older gentleman with glasses with no sense of urgency. Even though I kept speaking in English he kept responding in Spanish. I asked if someone else could help me he said no. He said he couldn’t find my account without me providing my social security card in addition to my ID? Even though I had a court order with me he still refused to be reasonable, not surprising, given the customer service up to that point. So we left - we always get amazing service at the le jeune location, and here we were treated like garbage despite being loyal customers over 30 years with several accounts including business accounts with OB. I don’t recommend this location at all, it feels like some banana republic bureaucratic office in Latin America where no one has a sense of urgency, no customer service and logic is non existent and the employees are more concerned with socializing and cafecito time

I met Ruth Jimenez about 5 years ago. She was working with a business partner of mine and I was very impressed with her business acumen and genuine wish to help. I opened a business account through her which has now become 2 business accounts, one personal account and one equity line of credit. The personal touch that has been lost by most banks is still very present in Ocean Bank especially with Ruth. Could not recommend anyone more to keep things running smooth and you feel that you have someone there to help no matter what your banking needs. Ocean has been a great find and it is because of bankers like Ruth Jimenez.

I have been a client of the Ocean Bank Brickell branch for several years. The location is great and very accessible. The customer service is extremely professional and helpful. The clerks and manager are always available and they are always willing to go out of their way to answer any questions and to facilitate any transaction. Initiated contact to bring my construction business banking account and personal over from Bank of America to a more local bank. 2 months ago I was told the Manager had COVID. One month ago the manager had COVID. Finally someone reached out the office is understaffed because of COVID. These guys will loose out on a lot ofBusiness. Unfortunately this is the way most of miami operates and they will ultimately suffer from a lack of proactiveness.
