Yesterday, on February 1, 2024, at around 6 or 7 p.m., my wife visited Party City at International Plaza, located at 10650 NW 19th St, Miami, and unfortunately, she had a harrowing experience. Initially, she inquired about the helium balloon inflation service, as she had purchased some on Amazon and was seeking a high-quality inflation service. Despite having the option of choosing a more economical venue like Dollar City, she opted for Party City due to its reputation for quality service. However, the experience fell short of her expectations.Upon inquiring about the service, she was directed to pay for it at the cashier, and up until that point, everything seemed normal. However, during the payment process, they asked her about the color of the balloon strips, and she chose gold. Upon receiving the inflated balloons, she noticed that they used black strips instead of the ones she requested. When requesting a change, the employee responded negatively and in an unpleasant manner, accepting that although it was her mistake, (i.e. employee mistake), she claimed that it couldn't be corrected, eventually throwing the balloons in my wife's face.Despite being a client deserving of respect, like everyone else, my wife was treated rudely and derogatorily, without receiving an adequate solution. When she attempted to speak with the store supervisor, another employee, the cashier, claimed that the same person who had treated my wife rudely was the supervisor, identifying her as Isabel, I have my doubts about her real name, so I am attaching some photos for her superiors to verify her identity.This unfortunate experience reflects poorly on the customer service at this Party City, raising questions about the store's management quality. My wife, a customer seeking quality and friendly service, found herself in an uncomfortable situation that should never occur in a commercial environment.She has contacted customer service, and they are escalating the case. She suggested reviewing security cameras to verify the events, including the moment when the balloons were thrown in her face.Adding to the frustration, my wife initially paid an extra $0.15 for each balloon, expecting a longer duration, but this turned out to be a scam, as the balloons deflated the next day, as shown in the attached photo.We would appreciate a thorough review of this incident and improvements in the service provided by your company.

Such terrible service and attention, they don't know how to solve a problem, they bought some happy new year balloons, they get damaged and they don't solve it, it took more than an hour for them to solve it and they end up returning the money separately, asking for the balloons in the box after they burst. All of them who wanted me to look for them in their own garbage should find a manager who can solve it because it is a store with so many customers, only one girl was worried about us, it's a shame I didn't see her name, they should give her the position of manager.

If the staff at this location were business owners, they will fail big time… Poot customer service and communication. Leaving the review after several visits because - enough is enough… one day inventory doesn’t match with online orders (that’s headquarters) another day they call to say order is ready and it is not… making me wait for more than 15min in vane (so why did the call?!) and I can keep going…Just bad.

Horrible customer service. Bought supplies for my daughters first birthday. They never put the candle in for the cake. When I went in the next day to tell them the candle was missing the shift manager told me I needed to wait hours while she went through the camera footage to see if what I was saying was true. At which point I was like “wow” would I really waste my time and go ask for a candle if I didn’t get it. And now I have to wait hours until you figure out your mistake. I mean we’re talking about a $5 candle get out of here. What happened to customer service.

If I would be able to give it 0 stars, I would. I have been to this Party city multiple times and have never had the poor experience I had today with the customer service. I purchased multiple sets of balloons, the personnel filling up my balloons was left by herself to work with my order; she stopped multiple times to attend Uber orders and customers at the cashier as no other personnel came from the back of the store to assist. I purchased a $20 balloon that was to float (but did not) with hanging decorations on the string, they two pieces from the end of the string hoping the balloon would stay afloat as they did not want to return my money for the defected item. They only agreed to a store credit. I asked if they could provide a bag to place the balloons carefully in my car and they requested $1 per bag even after the service rendered had been poor and an item defected. It is unfortunate as this is a favored store.

I came here 15 minutes before it closed and they didn't want to fill my balloon. They said they ran out of helium and that I could go the next day. They didn't run out of helium because they literally filled a balloon in my face 5 minutes before I asked. Not everybody was rude but they didn't want to help me because they were about to close. They don't close until 8pm so I think they should have help me.
