Peacock Park

Hours: Peacock Park is a well thought out and well equipped city park, perfect for families and a great place for a walk. It features a fun playground with equipment for all ages, including swings and slides, and offers basketball courts, a softball field, soccer fields, and a tennis court. There is a recreation building with ping-pong, foosball, and free Wi-Fi. The park provides beautiful views of the water from a small boardwalk and has a spot to rent paddle boards with a kayak launch site. It is a relaxing, fun place to hang out, with picnic tables, open green space for games, and shaded areas. The ground is soft on the feet. The park is dog friendly, wheelchair accessible with free parking, and has public restrooms. It is open from 7:00 am to 10:00 pm seven days a week and can be extremely lively with cool lights and live music.
