Terrible service.
I had my appointment at 2:00 pm, and I arrived 30 minutes earlier. I dropped off my car and they told me it would take a maximum of an hour and a half to complete the service.
After two and a half hours of waiting, I realized that my car had not been brought into the shop yet. When I made the claim, they told me that a mechanic had left, and that my car would be the next to be serviced.
I didn't want to keep wasting my time, so I decided to leave the place.
Why do I have to make an appointment to have my car serviced if they don't respect the customer's time?

I have been a Pep Boys customer for about 8 years now I believe. I always went to Pep Boys in NY, TX and bow FL. Today (Feb 17 2025) 11 am I went to take my Mini Cooper for oil changed at the 2301 SW 8th St Miami location. I was told it would take about 1 hour so I told the staff that I would wait in the shop. About 30 min into my waiting a staff came to tell me that they recommended I change the brake pads to which I replied that I would hold off for now on the brake pads change because I was tight for time and that I would come back next service date. They then told me that they would just change the oil and filter now and let me know shortly. I waited for 2.5 hours until I noticed that people that came after me were getting called but no one called me. I went to check on the status of the oil changed with Justin who was working this day. When I noticed that the checkout documents were ready I asked Justing how long my car was ready to which he replied: “we were busy with other customers”. I informed him that I was waiting in the shop and that other customers were getting called before me so he started arguing with me and being very nasty. Long story short, he waved me out telling me to get out of his store. Of course it aggravated me so I got into an argument with him and asked to speak to the manager to which he said the manager isn’t there. This was the worst experience ever. I was put in a very embarrassing situation on top of being disrespected
. I am not writing to ask for a refund but I would like to see Justin gone so other customers don’t have to be in the same embarrassing situation like me. I certainly don’t think this is a reflection on Pep Boys as I always had positive experience with Pep Boys but people like Justin just can’t and shouldn’t be working at Pep Boys nor any other business until he learns some manners. I would appreciate if you honor my request and keep me updated so I can go back to being a loyal customer.
