Terrible. Should be called Unprofessional Movers. Where to start? They charged me $100 just for the truck rental plus the hourly rate. I told them to bring a bigger truck just in case. They quoted me for 3 hours. First thing Peter does is go to the bathroom to stink it up. Seriously. Next he tells me that to take my TV they charge an extra $50 for packing it. So he puts it into my back car seat. Next he asks me to hold the bed as he is moving it but he gets a call so I’m there waiting while he is talking for a while. He tells me that he must talk to her because it’s his mother. Nothing he can do as it’s his mother. Umm no, not when I’m paying you over $100 per hour. He then tells me that my Total Gym won’t fit and I have to leave it (I had told them about the gym on the initial call). I told him I’m taking it. He admits he has no idea how to take it. I later come back to find it in pieces and he blames the other guy and tells me I may not be able to put it back together. Unfortunately he was right about this. He tells me he will come back for my desk, lamp and box that was in the kitchen. He never shows up. I go downstairs to find out that the truck is gone. I call him and tell him that he left my desk inside and he says there is no room and tells me that he can make another trip or I can fit it in my car by myself and promised it would fit. Of course it did not and it later cracked as I was forced to move the rest of my items by myself. I was not prepared to move furniture myself since that’s why I hired movers. It fell on my toe. When we get to the location he gets lost. He finally gets in and starts talking on the phone god knows with who. I tell him that’s not where the furniture goes. He complains to me that he hasn’t eaten and that he is hungry. Really? I’m supposed to feed you? If I talked to my boss like that during my work I would surely get fired. Still I’m nice. I offer him some chips which is all I had and he refuses since he doesn’t eat that. I notice that the cables to the tv aren’t there and he blames me saying I should have reminded him to get them when he disconnected them. He had left them on the floor at the old place. He also tells me I should pay before he is done unpacking and accuses me of not intending on paying him. It cost me almost $600 PLUS now my tower fan won’t turn on, my Total Gym is broken and I have no desk. I was very uncomfortable. Very unprofessional! Never again. Pro Movers? I think not!
