This used to be a good pharmacy until recently. They hired a very rude member of staff called maribella who refused to answer my question about my medication over the phone. She made it sound like for the first time in 2 years they did not have my medication nor had they ordered in any more since my prescription was handed in a month ago. Since this was needed for a long, and highly sensitive trip out of the country I had a huge panic attack that lasted for hours. When I called the following day hoping to speak to someone else it was explained to me that they did not have the entire number of pills needed but that they had most of them. If Maribella had taken the time to explain this to me when I initially asked I could have avoided an awful panic attack and a sleepless night. Someone in this job should really have more empathy for sick people! I never want to come to this pharmacy again.

Customer service is terrible in this pharmacy. I can’t believe Publix has those type of employees! They sound lazy and not willing to help at all! Plus they don’t answer the calls.

Terrible attention, more than an hour waiting on the phone. They do not have home delivery service. To be such an overly expensive place they should improve a lot.

As a black man, I'm use to all kinds of racism but the level of racism I received today 1/20/2025, is insane. I came to this location to purchase a money order and I got asked for my picture ID and with my method of payment. Then I was asked why I'm making the money which is new for me, I never got asked this question before because the individual that was ahead of me made a money order and didn't ask that question (by the way that person is white), but me being black man was asked that question. Of course I felt uneasy about answering that question and explained that it is my business after a little back and forth the manager name John came, Im like finally someone sane can get me the help I need. Wrong, John being a racist as well decided to enforce this silly rule so I explained that it's for rent and then he asked if I can prove that or they will deny me service. I never heard of something so crazy over a money order. So John refused to give me the money order which prompted me to leave this review.
It's locations like this one, that want black dollars but implore racist tactics like this one so they can deny black people service. I encourage black individuals to avoid this location, and if you need a money order the post office will make them for you with none of these shenanigans. As this location seems hell bend on treating black like option all the while collecting black dollars.
Again the manager that came was a tall white man name John

I was truly worried about this location due to some reviews. However, the store is cleaner than others. And it's well stocked. As far as I could tell first time in.
As far as people's attitudes? It's Miami. It's a given you will get horrendous treatment wherever you go. Don't take anything personal. The deli is small, so don't expect much, and you're fine.

Poor service and attitude towards the customers at the PUBLIX deli. Perhaps it is just poor management or turnover however customer service should be first and for most. This reference is pertaining to the flagship store on East Atlantic Blvd, FED Hwy, Pompano Beach, FL, 33062. This shop was a five-star rating at one time. So Sad !Tom

You never know what you're going to experience customer service wise. Sometimes good, sometimes bad, sometimes ignored. Clean store overall. Post new signs weekly for No Dogs and specifically prohibits ESA dogs. You're located on the first floor of over 300 apartments....what did you expect?
