Roberto Clemente Park is a small, friendly neighborhood park with a playground, basketball courts, and open space. It features a large grassy field that is part of a kickball, softball, and baseball diamond. The park is great for kids and casual outdoor activities, and also hosts community events like a Puerto Rican culture celebration. The park's after-school program and summer program are highly praised. They are described as a true blessing and a true gift, providing a safe, fun, and supportive space. The staff goes above and beyond, creating an environment that is both fun and structured. They are amazing, dedicated, and treat every child with love and respect. The programs are organized and intentional, with thoughtful planning for activities, field trips, and daily routines. Children get help with homework, make amazing friends, and always come home with big smiles and great stories. They feel happy, safe, and have a blast, building confidence and making memories. The programs give parents peace of mind. The park also hosts public events featuring food like arroz con gandules, activities such as making paper, book distributions, music, and contests. It is a space for community gathering and cultural celebration.
It has a large grassy field that is the outfield for the kickball/ softball/baseball diamond. After visiting Wynwood art district we were able to go into the field here, lay out s tarp, and spray paint some canvases of our own. The kids really got a kick of doing their own art after seeing the walls.

Love the after school program as well as the summer camp program. Both are amazing for my son.
