I am updating this review after learning that Safelite lied about damaging my car and was responsible for putting a fist size hole in the cars bumper while it was in their possession. In addition, despite photographic evidence that the car was not damaged when they brought into Safelite's warehouse prior to service and the damage was documented by the techician picking up my vehicle before he took possession of it; Safelite's insurance is refusing to cover the damage they caused. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!!!!!

I went to this place because my insurance recommended. My appointment was at 3pm. I got there at 2:30pm. The technician said it was gonna take a while because he was still working on 1pm appointment, he haven't start his 2pm appointment so my car it was gonna be ready after 5pm. I went to eat to the restaurant in front and I was looking to my car until 3:30 pm. It was in the same spot that I park. My car didn't have any scratch at this moment and when they finish almost at 5:30pm they give the key without explanation and told me is in the back. When I went to my car it has a big scratch in the part that I was looking all the time from the restaurant. They said the car had that before and show me a picture that hey took at 4:16pm with the scratch. They said they can't do nothing and the manager is going to call me the next day. Two day pass already, nobody has called me. I call and they said I need to wait for his call. I'm reading the reviews and its looks like this happen often in this place. Don't ever go to this place. They are so unprofessional. ....after 5 days calling to try to reach the manager Fritz (he never called me) he said is not his problem he and he couldn't answer a simple question like What is the address to admit a written complaint?...he said is not address for that and hung up the phone. For your record Fritz 7400 Safelite Way, Columbus, Ohio 43235 this is the address.

Henry from Safelight replaced our drivers door window. He was skilled and efficient. We came back from a flight to find our drivers door window broken and car burglarized. We were traveling and did not have a vacuum. We appreciate the Safelite mobile service. Henry not only replaced the window but cleaned up all the glass so we could continue with our trip.

I was skeptical to have the windshield replaced of my 2024 Volvo XC 90. I was wrong. They accomplished the original schedule and did great job. Thank you all Safelite team in special Cesar Gonzalez.

This is the least suitable place to change you vehicle windshield. They came to do the installation, the damaged the new windshield before installing it, they also broke an important part of our car, they did not want to take responsibility even after showing the photo that it was broken because of them. When I went to talk to the Manager the day after because they never came back to repair the glass or the damaged piece, they gave 1000 excuses justifying the installer who was very unprofessional.I really don't recommend this place to anyone looking for good service.

They are excellent professionals, my work is of the best quality. I recommend the place for windshield changes and other work related to windows and glass. In the end, they approach the client and clarify any questions, visit them and you will see the result.

In my particular case, I had to go twice, taking hours off from work that I now need to compensate. The reason was that the first time, Safelite assured me that everything was in perfect condition, that the job was a success, and the windshield was properly calibrated, even providing me with a calibration certification. However, I had to go again as it turned out the windshield wasn't calibrated correctly. I'm not sure if this is common, but when providing a rating, I believe it's crucial to mention such experiences.

Had a windshield replaced through insurance. Worked with Tony, he was kind and professional. Came out and reviewed what needed to be done with us.The job got done in way less time than anticipated. Very easy process. Highly recommend.EDIT: also forgot to mention, they removed the sunpass sticker from my old windshield and placed it on the new one. Which I didn’t even mention to them. It felt above and beyond; seeing as I was lazy that AM. And was prepared to just replace it/purchase a new one.

This Safelite location is definitely doing something sketchy with people's vehicles. I took my vehicle in on Saturday around 2:00 p.m. to have the windshield replaced and recalibrated. I was told it would take about 2 and 1/2 hours. Around 5:00 p.m., I checked in to see what the status of my vehicle was. I was told it would be recalibrated. I waited another hour and 15 minutes, before the technician told me that the car could not be recalibrated. They told me I would have to go back another day to have my windshield recalibrated. To add insult to injury, the tech laughed in my face and told me that the car was finished hours before, and that he thought I had already left for some reason. When I got in my car, I saw that I went from having half a tank of gas to almost no gas. They had put 100 miles on my vehicle. I called safelite's 1-800 number and they arrange for me to do recalibration with a different Safelite location today. The different Safelite location managed to complete recalibration in no more than 30 minutes, and they did not add mileage to my vehicle. I have no idea what the Safelite on 8th Street is doing, But I suspect they are using people's personal vehicles for other purposes. I still cannot fathom how 100 miles were put on my car, and how they used almost all my gas. I am at a complete loss at the level of unprofessionalism that I have experienced at this location. You all are crooks.
