If you are a true thrifter and long time westchester resident like myself , than you know this store has come a long way. The store employees are always smiling and welcoming and willing to assist you in find items you are looking for. The manager has made great strides in the recent weeks from rearranging the clothing to new floor plan. I can’t wait to see what other upgrades this store gets. I’m excited to be shopping back at Salvation Army

This place is a dump. Such a shame they don't have a manager that cares about the overall organization and cleanliness of this place. Even an associate told me that all the clothes were just mixed and all over the place. There is no effort in keeping at least some semblance of structure. It was so disorganized, almost every rack had a mix of dresses, tanks, pants, etc. A lot of clothing items were in such bad shape, they appeared more trash worthy than sellable. The shoes were so nasty and the store smells horribly when you walk in. Goodwill may be more expensive than this place, but I rather pay more for a better quality experience and preowned selection of items.

Very good offer, it's a shame they have a man named Michael Bates, I don't understand how they hire people like that, the most unpleasant in person and also racist.

We donate here as they have a drop off container on the side. Took exactly 2 mins to drop off and get a receipt. The company helps people and that's the bottom line. I haven't noticed customer service to be an issue, but everyone has their days. The only bad is that to schedule a pick up, costs $ now and increases by items to be picked up. They don't come and pick things up free anymore. This is no different for Goodwill Industries or most other charitable organizations.

I prefer donating to Salvation Army than goodwill so I drove 30 minutes to drop off several bags of really good donations at this location. When I arrived the donation truck was closed. I wanted a receipt for my donations so I went inside to ask how I can get a receipt for my drop offs. The man attending today responded that the truck is only open until 3pm. I asked if my only option was to drop off in the bins (which I didn’t want to do) and he said yup. I stated that I drove 30 minutes just to drop off at this location but he was uninterested and not helpful at all. Would it really have been that difficult to provide me with a receipt? Not sure how this store is rated so high for customer service. Very unhappy and I wasted my gas coming here.

This place does so much good for the community and needs everyone's support. We sold out 4/3 home and are downsizing to a 2/2 condo. All the furniture we had was made 20 years ago by a unique designer in North Carolina. We donated it all to the Salvation Army. The manager quickly noticed the quality of the craftsmanship and he and his crew unloaded 2 uhaul trucks of donations which will raise an amazing amount of funds to benefit the community. Please continue to support the Salvation Army.

This salvation army family store is absolutely amazing! The staff in the store is courteous, helpful, attentive, and kind. The merchandise is always very neatly organized. The prices could not be better even as compared to other thrift stores. Furniture and household items are always well organized and great pieces can be found!

I have tons of furniture to donate to them. I'm donating my entire household items to them because I'm moving to Canadá. They have canceled the appointment for pick up three times!!! because they said they have no drivers to pick up my stuff. I'm super angry because I'm leaving in two months and they keep cancelling my appointment. I will have to donate everything to another company
