Horrible customer service. Manager was rude and giving me excuses that she was going to make an exception for my product return. It was sent to me used and she said I only had 30 days when it’s very clear in the website there is an extension for exchanges or returns. Then she kept on saying that it had to be return by mail for any future online damaged orders not in store.

This experience was unacceptable and left a very poor impression.
I visited this Sephora location on my actual birthday to redeem the Birthday Gift that Sephora actively promotes as part of its Beauty Insider program. I was informed that no birthday gift was available. No alternative was offered — no digital option, no voucher, no substitute of any kind.
I am a long-time Sephora customer who spends hundreds, and in many years thousands, of dollars annually with this company. When a brand advertises a birthday reward as a loyalty benefit, customers reasonably expect it to be honored. Inventory issues are an internal failure and should never be passed on to the customer.
What made this experience especially disappointing was the cold and indifferent attitude of the staff. There was no apology, no attempt to check for options, and no effort to provide a resolution. The interaction felt dismissive and transactional, which is inconsistent with the level of service Sephora claims to provide.
Sephora positions itself as a premium beauty retailer with a strong loyalty program. Experiences like this reveal a clear disconnect between marketing promises and in-store execution.
This was my birthday. A moment that should have been simple and positive instead highlighted poor customer care. This visit significantly diminished my trust in the brand.

I visited Sephora today and was helped by an amazing employee. Melanie was very helpful, guided me thru gifting guiding assistance I needed for my niece. I will be visiting again and requesting for Melanie to assist. Thank you for making my experience today pleasant and successful.

What an awesome experience at Sephora @Kendall today! I went to buy just a concealer and ended buying more stuff for my make up! Melani was amazing, very patient, professional, knowledge, love the way she explained details to me!! Very energetic, sweet!! I am happy with my experience! Thank you so much.

Had a very unprofessional experience with two workers tonight, It’s not the first time with one of them. They should learn to be more professional especially with how they word things and speak to customers.

I normally don’t go on a whim to give a bad customer service review .. but I purchased an item in another Sephora .. on my way home (2hrs later) I noticed the item was not the same as in the box .. I came to this Sephora to exchange it & I was told no that I needed to go to the Sephora that was 25 miles away to return it since it was their issue .. or I could call customer service. I called customer service & they said I can absolutely do the return. I come in and one of the managers goes on to tell me it’s an exception to exchange it.. normally it has to be investigated by the store that sold it to me & that situation has been happening. I’m a rouge member .. I buy often & honestly I was so taken aback by the experience. It was the first time that happened to me .. as a customer I’m unaware of their loss prevention issues. I won’t be returning to this Sephora & I prefer my online experience. If customer service told me it was ok to do an exchange why would a store give me such an issue .. what happened to good customer service. By

I had an amazing experience with the beauty advisor who helped me today. Melanie was incredibly knowledgeable, patient, and truly listened to my concerns before recommending products. I loved how she explained each item in detail and helped me find exactly what worked for my skin type and style. Her professionalism and warm personality made the whole visit enjoyable. Thanks to her, I left feeling confident and excited to try my new products. Highly recommend her service!❤️

I did not care for a woman with dyed blonde hair today older probably early sixties chasing me around the store today . If I touched something she went … you can’t open this or touch that … just to be clear this was not makeup .. that people are really particular about it was a cute brush set which was already unsealed by the way . Also , if you talk in English they give you a weird face and reply to you back in Spanish . Please look into the people you hire . I was make uncomfortable by the chasing and refusal to speak English . I will continue to buy at the Dadeland location . Hard pass . Thank you .

Nahyr gave us a 5 star experience, she walked me and my mom through the store and recommended us the best products and helped my mom with the credit card process, she deserves to be a manager one day !

Very bad customer service
I went to this store around opening time, and one of the workers was extremely rude. The store was supposed to open at 11, but when they opened the door, they spoke to me in a very disrespectful way and even closed the door in my face. Completely unprofessional behavior. I will not be coming back.

This is by far the worst Sephora I’ve ever been. The customer service or lack of is horrendous. No one knows what they’re doing nor do they ask if you need help. I had a question and I can tell the workers were avoiding eye contact just because they didn’t want to help me. I don’t understand how corporate allows this.

Anytime I buy the employees recommendations the products are horrible. Most recently a product was recommended as the best and it’s the worst I’ve had. $30 wasted. Do they get commissions to sell certain products? I don’t get it.
